37 E Jesus disse-lhe: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo o teu coração, e de toda a tua alma, e de todo o teu pensamento.38 Este é o primeiro e grande mandamento.39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás o teu próximo como a ti mesmo.40 Destes dois mandamentos dependem toda a lei e os profetas.

37 And he said to him, Thou shalt love {the} Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy understanding.38 This is {the} great and first commandment.39 And {the} second is like it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.40 On these two commandments the whole law and the prophets hang.
