1 O Senhor reina;

tremam os povos.

Ele está assentado entre

os querubins;

comova-se a terra.

2 O Senhor é grande em Sião,

e mais alto

do que todos os povos.

3 Louvem o teu nome,

grande e tremendo,

pois é santo.

4 Também o poder

do Rei ama o juízo;

tu firmas a equidade,

fazes juízo e justiça em Jacó.

5 Exaltai ao Senhor nosso Deus,

e prostrai-vos diante

do escabelo de seus pés,

pois é santo.

6 Moisés e Arão,

entre os seus sacerdotes,

e Samuel entre os

que invocam o seu nome,

clamavam ao Senhor,

e Ele lhes respondia.

7 Na coluna de nuvem lhes falava;

eles guardaram

os seus testemunhos,

e os estatutos que lhes dera.

8 Tu os escutaste, Senhor nosso Deus:

tu foste um Deus

que lhes perdoaste,

ainda que tomaste vingança

dos seus feitos.

9 Exaltai ao Senhor nosso Deus

e adorai-o no seu monte santo,

pois

o Senhor nosso Deus é santo.

he sits enthroned between the cherubim,

let the earth shake.

2 Great is the Lord in Zion;

he is exalted over all the nations.

3 Let them praise your great and awesome name—

he is holy.

4 The King is mighty, he loves justice—

you have established equity;

in Jacob you have done

what is just and right.

5 Exalt the Lord our God

and worship at his footstool;

he is holy.

6 Moses and Aaron were among his priests,

Samuel was among those who called on his name;

they called on the Lord

and he answered them.

7 He spoke to them from the pillar of cloud;

they kept his statutes and the decrees he gave them.

8 Lord our God,

you answered them;

you were to Israel a forgiving God,

though you punished their misdeeds.*

9 Exalt the Lord our God

and worship at his holy mountain,

for the Lord our God is holy.
