9 As an adamant, harder than flint, I have made thy forehead. Fear them not, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house.
8 But ye will receive the power of the Holy Spirit that comes upon you. And ye will be witnesses to me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and as far as of the extremity of the earth.
9 O thou who tell good news to Zion, get thee up on a high mountain. O thou who tell good news to Jerusalem, lift up thy voice with strength. Lift it up, be not afraid, say to the cities of Judah, Behold, your God!
4 but as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the good-news, thus we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who proves our hearts.
14 Ye are the light of the world. A city setting on a hill cannot be hid,
15 nor do they light a lamp, and put it under the bushel, but on the lampstand, and it shines to all in the house.
16 Thus your light should shine before men, so that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father in the heavens.
12 Having your behavior good among the Gentiles, so that, upon which they speak against you as evil-doers, they may glorify God in the day of visitation, from having observed your good works.
4 Lord LORD has given me the tongue of those who are taught, that I may know how to sustain with words him who is weary. He awakens morning by morning. He awakens my ear to hear as those who are taught.
38 For whoever may be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of man will also be ashamed of him when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy agents.
7 But LORD said to me, Say not, I am a child. For to whomever I shall send thee thou shall go, and whatever I shall command thee thou shall speak.
19 and for me, so that utterance may be given to me in boldness in opening my mouth to make known the mystery of the good-news,
20 for which I am an ambassador in bondage, so that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
29 And Peter and the apostles having answered, they said, We must obey God rather than men.
25 The fear of man brings a snare, but he who puts his trust in LORD shall be safe.
8 Be not ashamed therefore of the testimony of our Lord nor of me his prisoner, but suffer together with the good-news according to the power of God.
13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and having perceived that they are illiterate and uneducated men, they marveled. And they recognized them, that they had been with Jesus.
16 For I am not ashamed of the good-news of Christ, for it is the power of God for salvation to every man who believes, both to the Jew first, and to the Greek.
46 I also will speak of thy testimonies before kings, and shall not be put to shame.
15 These things speak and exhort and rebuke with every command. Let no man disregard thee.
