1 Blessed [are] all who fear LORD, who walk in his ways.
2 For thou shall eat the labor of thy hands. Happy thou shall be, and it shall be well with thee.
10 A worthy woman who can find? For her price is far above rubies.
12 Honor thy father and thy mother, that thy days may be long in the land which LORD thy God gives thee.
24 He who spares his rod hates his son, but he who loves him chastens him promptly.
20 A wise son makes a glad father, but a foolish man despises his mother.
1 Children, obey your parents in Lord, for this is right.
2 Honor thy father and mother, which is the first commandment with promise,
3 so that it may become well with thee, and thou will be long lasting on the earth.
4 Love is patient and is kind. Love does not envy. Love does not brag, and is not puffed up.
5 It does not behave improperly, does not seek the things of itself, is not made sharp, does not contemplate evil,
6 does not rejoice in wrong but rejoices in the truth,
7 covers all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
9 Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes saw, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life, but make them known to thy sons and thy son's sons--
6 Train up a child in the way he should go, and even when he is old he will not depart from it.
25 Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come.
26 She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the law of kindness is on her tongue.
27 She looks well to the ways of her household, and does not eat the bread of idleness.
28 Her sons rise up, and call her blessed. Her husband [also], and he praises her.
29 Many daughters have done worthily, but thou excel them all.
30 Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, [but] a woman who fears LORD, she shall be praised.
8 My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother.
9 For they shall be a garland of grace to thy head, and chains about thy neck.
3 Lo, sons are a heritage of LORD, [and] the fruit of the womb is [a] reward.
13 As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you, and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.
