19 God is not a man, that he should lie, neither the son of man, that he should repent. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not make it good?
1 But the Spirit says expressly that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons,
2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, their own conscience having been seared with a hot iron,
3 forbidding to marry, to abstain from foods, which God created for partaking with thankfulness by those who believe and know the truth.
44 Ye are from the father, the devil, and ye want to do the desires of your father. He was a man-killer from the beginning, and he has not stood in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his
16 There are six things which LORD hates, yea, seven which are an abomination to him:
17 haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
18 a heart that devises wicked purposes, feet that are swift in running to mischief,
19 a FALSE witness who utters lies, and he who sows discord among brothers.
16 Thou shall not bear FALSE witness against thy neighbor.
7 He who works deceit shall not dwell within my house. He who speaks falsehood shall not be established before my eyes.
11 Ye shall not steal, nor shall ye deal falsely, nor lie one to another.
9 Do not lie to each other, having stripped off the old man with his practices,
10 and having put on the new man, being renewed in knowledge according to an image of him who created him,
6 The getting of treasures by a lying tongue is a vapor driven to and fro by those who seek death.
1 Hold not thy peace, O God of my praise,
2 for they have opened against me the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of deceit. They have spoken to me with a lying tongue.
13 The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies, nor shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth. For they shall feed and lay down, and none shall make them afraid.
5 A faithful witness will not lie, but a FALSE witness utters lies.
22 Lying lips are an abomination to LORD, but those who deal truly are his delight.
7 Excellent speech is not appropriate to a fool, much less lying lips to a prince.
15 Outside are the dogs, and the sorcerers, and the fornicators, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and every man who loves and makes a lie.
25 Therefore having put off falsehood, let each man speak truth with his neighbor, because we are body-parts of each other.
14 But if ye have bitter envy and selfish ambition in your heart, do not boast, and do not lie against the truth.
