16 thinking the same way toward each other, not thinking on lofty things, but accommodating to the lowly. Become not wise according to yourselves,
3 Talk no more so very proudly. Let not arrogancy come out of your mouth, for LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.
2 When pride comes, then comes shame, but with the lowly is wisdom.
3 in nothing according to selfish ambition or empty conceit, but in humility considering each other surpassing yourselves.
4 Look ye out (each man) not to things of yourselves, but each man also to the things of others.
5 Indeed have this way to think in you, that also was in Christ Jesus,
25 LORD will root up the house of the proud, but he will establish the border of the widow.
10 Through pride a vain man causes contention, but wisdom is with the well-advised.
12 Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, and before honor [is] humility.
16 Because everything in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the arrogance of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
17 But he who boasts should boast in Lord.
18 For he who commends himself, that man is not approved, but whom the Lord commends.
7 But LORD said to Samuel, Do not look on his countenance, or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For [LORD sees] not as man sees, for man looks on the outward appearance, but LORD looks on the heart.
37 Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, for all his works are truth, and his ways justice. And he is able to abase those who walk in pride.
13 The fear of LORD is to hate evil. Pride, and arrogance, and the evil way, and the perverse mouth, do I hate.
12 Therefore let him who seems to stand take heed lest he fall.
11 Because every man who lifts himself up will be made lower, and he who makes himself lower will be lifted up.
5 Everyone who is proud in heart is an abomination to LORD. Hand in hand, he shall not be unpunished.
23 A man's pride shall bring him low, but he who is of a lowly spirit shall obtain honor.
3 And if I dole out all things possessed by me, and if I deliver my body so that I may be burned, and have not love, I benefit nothing.
28 And God chose the common things of the world, and the disdained things, and the things that are not, so that he might make useless the things that are,
29 so that no flesh may boast before God.
25 There is a way which seems right to a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
6 But he gives greater grace. Therefore it says, God is opposed to the arrogant, but gives grace to the lowly.
2 For all these things my hand has made, and all these things came to be, says LORD. But to this man I will look, even to him who is poor and of a contrite spirit, and who trembles at my word.

10 but the rich in his lowliness, because as a flower of grass he will pass away.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.
20 And he said, That which comes out of the man, that defiles the man.
21 For from inside the heart of men proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts,
22 covetings, wickednesses, deceit, licentiousness, an evil eye, reviling, pride, foolishness.
23 All these evil things come from inside, and defile the man.
10 Be ye made lower in the sight of the Lord, and he will lift you up.

4 The reward of humility [and] the fear of LORD [is] riches and honor and life.
18 Pride [is] before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.
17 Command the rich in the present age not to be arrogant, nor hope in the uncertainty of wealth, but in the living God, who supplies us all things abundantly for enjoyment,
