34 And Simeon blessed them, and said to Mary his mother, Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against;
35 (Yes, a sword shall pierce through your own soul also,) that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.
19 But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.
26 And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,
27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin' name was Mary.
28 And the angel came in to her, and said, Hail, you that are highly favored, the Lord is with you: blessed are you among women.
55 Is not this the carpenter' son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brothers, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?
56 And his sisters, are they not all with us? From where then has this man all these things?
3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus said to him, They have no wine.
4 Jesus said to her, Woman, what have I to do with you? my hour is not yet come.
5 His mother said to the servants, Whatever he said to you, do it.
48 And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said to him, Son, why have you thus dealt with us? behold, your father and I have sought you sorrowing.
49 And he said to them, How is it that you sought me? knew you not that I must be about my Father' business?
50 And they understood not the saying which he spoke to them.
51 And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject to them: but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart.
31 There came then his brothers and his mother, and, standing without, sent to him, calling him.
32 And the multitude sat about him, and they said to him, Behold, your mother and your brothers without seek for you.
33 And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother, or my brothers?
34 And he looked round about on them which sat about him, and said, Behold my mother and my brothers!
35 For whoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.
18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
30 And the angel said to her, Fear not, Mary: for you have found favor with God.
31 And, behold, you shall conceive in your womb, and bring forth a son, and shall call his name JESUS.
32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give to him the throne of his father David:
33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
25 Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother' sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene.
26 When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he said to his mother, Woman, behold your son!
27 Then said he to the disciple, Behold your mother! And from that hour that disciple took her to his own home.
14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.
46 And Mary said, My soul does magnify the Lord,
47 And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior.
48 For he has regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from now on all generations shall call me blessed.
49 For he that is mighty has done to me great things; and holy is his name.
50 And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation.
51 He has showed strength with his arm; he has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.
52 He has put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree.
53 He has filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he has sent empty away.
54 He has helped his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy;
55 As he spoke to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever.
4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)
5 To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.
6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.
7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
