1 To you, O God, do we give thanks, to you do we give thanks: for that your name is near your wondrous works declare.
2 When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly.
3 The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah.
4 I said to the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:
5 Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.
6 For promotion comes neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.
7 But God is the judge: he puts down one, and sets up another.
8 For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he pours out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.
9 But I will declare for ever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
10 All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.
1 Unto You, O God, we have given thanks, unto You we have given thanks; for Your wondrous works have declared that Your name is near.
2 When I choose the appointed time, I will judge with equity.
3 The earth and all its inhabitants are melting away; I have meted out its pillars. Selah.
4 I said to the boastful, Do not deal boastfully; and to the wicked, Do not lift up the horn;
5 do not lift up your horn on high; nor speak with a stiff neck.
6 For exaltation comes neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.
7 But God is the Judge; He puts down one and exalts another.
8 For in the hand of Jehovah there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is fully mixed; and He pours out from it; but the dregs of it, all the wicked of the earth shall drain its dregs and drink.
9 But I will declare forever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
10 I will also cut off all the horns of the wicked; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.
