7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor.
12 But above all things, my brothers, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yes be yes; and your no, no; lest you fall into condemnation.
13 He that covers his sins shall not prosper: but whoever confesses and forsakes them shall have mercy.
3 The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.
16 No man, when he has lighted a candle, covers it with a vessel, or puts it under a bed; but sets it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light.
16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that you may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
2 Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivers from death.
2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man' conscience in the sight of God.
7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.
15 Study to show yourself approved to God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
9 Lie not one to another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his deeds;
13 The wicked is snared by the transgression of his lips: but the just shall come out of trouble.
17 He that speaks truth shows forth righteousness: but a false witness deceit.
8 Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right.
21 Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.
6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
27 Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it.
5 A good man shows favor, and lends: he will guide his affairs with discretion.
25 Let your eyes look right on, and let your eyelids look straight before you.
3 To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.
6 For for this cause pay you tribute also: for they are God' ministers, attending continually on this very thing.
9 Then shall you understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yes, every good path.
1 A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight.
3 The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.
28 A fraudulent man sows strife: and a whisperer separates chief friends.
8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
