10 As sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.
1 The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son makes a glad father: but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.
17 The righteous cry, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.
18 The LORD is near to them that are of a broken heart; and saves such as be of a contrite spirit.
12 Therefore also now, said the LORD, turn you even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:
15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.
18 For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increases knowledge increases sorrow.
16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.
17 For the Lamb which is in the middle of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them to living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
9 Lord, all my desire is before you; and my groaning is not hid from you.
12 The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languishes; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men.
8 The LORD opens the eyes of the blind: the LORD raises them that are bowed down: the LORD loves the righteous:
10 Therefore remove sorrow from your heart, and put away evil from your flesh: for childhood and youth are vanity.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
20 Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down on the ground, and worshipped,
21 And said, Naked came I out of my mother' womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.
4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
5 Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus said the LORD, the God of David your father, I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears: behold, I will heal you: on the third day you shall go up to the house of the LORD.
30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby you are sealed to the day of redemption.
7 Casting all your care on him; for he cares for you.
8 And the LORD, he it is that does go before you; he will be with you, he will not fail you, neither forsake you: fear not, neither be dismayed.
5 For his anger endures but a moment; in his favor is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
