Genesis 6

1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the ground, and daughters were born unto them, 2 that the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all that they chose. 3 And Jehovah said, My Spirit shall not strive with man for ever, for that he also is flesh: yet shall his days be a hundred and twenty years. 4 The Nephilim were in the earth in those days, and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them: the same were the mighty men that were of old, the men of renown.

5 And Jehovah saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6 And it repented Jehovah that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. 7 And Jehovah said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the ground; both man, and beast, and creeping things, and birds of the heavens; for it repenteth me that I have made them. 8 But Noah found favor in the eyes of Jehovah.

9 These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, and perfect in his generations: Noah walked with God.

Stricăciunea oamenilor

1 Când au început oamenii să se înmulțească*Cap. 1:28. pe fața pământului și li s-au născut fete, 2 fiii lui Dumnezeu au văzut că fetele oamenilor erau frumoase și din toate și-au luat de neveste*Deut. 7:3,4. pe acelea pe care și le-au ales. 3 Atunci, Domnul a zis: „Duhul*Gal. 5:16,17.1 Pet. 3:19,20. Meu nu va rămâne*6:3 Sau: nu se va lupta, nu va stăpâni. pururea în om, căci*Ps. 78:39. omul nu este decât carne păcătoasă; totuși*6:3 Sau: de aceea., zilele lui vor fi de o sută douăzeci de ani." 4 Uriașii erau pe pământ în vremurile acelea și chiar și după ce s-au împreunat fiii lui Dumnezeu cu fetele oamenilor și le-au născut ele copii; aceștia erau vitejii care au fost în vechime, oameni cu nume. 5 Domnul a văzut că răutatea omului era mare pe pământ și că toate întocmirile gândurilor*Cap. 8:21.Deut. 29:19.Prov. 6:18.Mat. 15:19. din inima lui erau îndreptate în fiecare zi numai spre rău. 6 I-a părut rău*Num. 23:19.1 Sam. 15:11,29.2 Sam. 24:16.Mal. 3:6.Iac. 1:17. Domnului că a făcut pe om pe pământ și S-a mâhnit*Is. 63:10.Efes. 4:30. în inima Lui. 7 Și Domnul a zis: „Am să șterg de pe fața pământului pe omul pe care l-am făcut, de la om până la vite, până la târâtoare și până la păsările cerului, căci Îmi pare rău că i-am făcut."

Noe

8 Dar Noe a căpătat*Cap. 19:19.Exod 33:12,13,16,17.Luca 1:30.Fapte 7:46. milă înaintea Domnului. 9 Iată care sunt urmașii lui Noe.

Noe*Cap. 7:1.Ezec. 14:14,20.Rom. 1:17.Evr. 11:7.2 Pet. 2:5. era un om neprihănit și fără pată între cei din vremea lui: Noe*Cap. 5:22. umbla cu Dumnezeu.
