3 And Satan entered into Judas who was called Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve. 4 And he went away, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might deliver him unto them. 5 And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money. 6 And he consented, and sought opportunity to deliver him unto them in the absence of the multitude.

3 Dar Satana a intrat în Iuda, zis şi Iscarioteanul, care era din numărul celor doisprezece.

4 Iuda s'a dus să se înţeleagă cu preoţii cei mai de seamă şi cu căpeteniile străjerilor Templului cum să -L dea în mînile lor.

5 Ei s'au bucurat, şi au căzut la învoială să -i dea bani.

6 După ce le -a făgăduit că li -L va da în mîni, Iuda căuta un prilej nimerit să dea pe Isus în mînile lor, fără ştirea norodului.
