17 A friend loveth at all times;
And a brother is born for adversity.
8 But if any provideth not for his own, and specially his own household, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever.
19 Honor thy father and thy mother; and, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
12 and the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we also do toward you;
17 Iron sharpeneth iron;
So a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.
10 A worthy woman who can find?
For her price is far above rubies.
28 Even so ought husbands also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his own wife loveth himself:
12 All things therefore whatsoever ye would that men should do unto you, even so do ye also unto them: for this is the law and the prophets.
18 And Jehovah God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a help meet for him.
7 Thou art all fair, my love;
And there is no spot in thee.
33 Nevertheless do ye also severally love each one his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she fear her husband.
2 But, because of fornications, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband.
14 House and riches are an inheritance from fathers;
But a prudent wife is from Jehovah.
10 For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? or am I striving to please men? if I were still pleasing men, I should not be a servant of Christ.
9 Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor.
1 A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches,
And loving favor rather than silver and gold.
10 For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him that is alone when he falleth, and hath not another to lift him up.
25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it; 26 that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word,
22 Wives, be in subjection unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church, being himself the saviour of the body.
14 Be not unequally yoked with unbelievers: for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? or what communion hath light with darkness?
12 And if a man prevail against him that is alone, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
5 Yea, and for this very cause adding on your part all diligence, in your faith supply virtue; and in your virtue knowledge; 6 and in your knowledge self-control; and in your self-control patience; and in your patience godliness; 7 and in your godliness brotherly kindness; and in your brotherly kindness love.
18 Wives, be in subjection to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. 19 Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.
