1 Every wise woman buildeth her house;
But the foolish plucketh it down with her own hands.
1 And it came to pass soon afterwards, that he went about through cities and villages, preaching and bringing the good tidings of the kingdom of God, and with him the twelve, 2 and certain women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities: Mary that was called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out, 3 and Joanna the wife of Chuzas Herod’s steward, and Susanna, and many others, who ministered unto them of their substance.
21 And Jehovah God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept; and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof: 22 and the rib, which Jehovah God had taken from the man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. 23 And the man said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
11 And now, my daughter, fear not; I will do to thee all that thou sayest; for all the city of my people doth know that thou art a worthy woman.
16 A gracious woman obtaineth honor;
And violent men obtain riches.
27 And God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
30 Grace is deceitful, and beauty is vain;
But a woman that feareth Jehovah, she shall be praised.
1 In like manner, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, even if any obey not the word, they may without the word be gained by the behavior of their wives;
3 that aged women likewise be reverent in demeanor, not slanderers nor enslaved to much wine, teachers of that which is good; 4 that they may train the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, 5 to be sober-minded, chaste, workers at home, kind, being in subjection to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed:
11 Women in like manner must be grave, not slanderers, temperate, faithful in all things.
7 Ye husbands, in like manner, dwell with your wives according to knowledge, giving honor unto the woman, as unto the weaker vessel, as being also joint-heirs of the grace of life; to the end that your prayers be not hindered.
14 House and riches are an inheritance from fathers;
But a prudent wife is from Jehovah.
19 It is better to dwell in a desert land,
Than with a contentious and fretful woman.
4 A worthy woman is the crown of her husband;
But she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones.
