8 Come near to God and he will come near to you. Make your hands clean, you evil-doers; put away deceit from your hearts, you false in mind.
17 Keep on with your prayers.
7 Make a request, and it will be answered; what you are searching for you will get; give the sign, and the door will be open to you:
8 Because to everyone who makes a request, it will be given; and he who is searching will get his desire, and to him who gives the sign, the door will be open.
3 Let your cry come to me, and I will give you an answer, and let you see great things and secret things of which you had no knowledge.
22 And all things, whatever you make request for in prayer, having faith, you will get.
2 \65:1\It is right for you, O God, to have praise in Zion: to you let the offering be made.
1 A Psalm. Of David. When he was in the waste land of Judah.
14 And we are certain that if we make any request to him which is right in his eyes, he will give ear to us:
2 You are burning with desire, and have not your desire, so you put men to death; you are full of envy, and you are not able to get your desire, so you are fighting and making war; you have not your desire, because you do not make request for it.
24 \22:23\You who have fear of the Lord, give him praise; all you seed of Jacob, give him glory; go in fear of him, all you seed of Israel.
1 I have given my love to the Lord, because he has given ear to the voice of my cry and my prayer.
2 He has let my request come before him, and I will make my prayer to him all my days.
6 Have no cares; but in everything with prayer and praise put your requests before God.
7 And the peace of God, which is deeper than all knowledge, will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
2 And he said to them, When you say your prayers, say, Father, may your name be kept holy and your kingdom come.
3 Give us every day bread for our needs.
4 May we have forgiveness for our sins, as we make free all those who are in debt to us. And let us not be put to the test.
8 \62:7\In God is my salvation, and my glory; the Rock of my strength, and my safe place.
7 If you are in me at all times, and my words are in you, then anything for which you make a request will be done for you.
17 \55:16\As for me, I will make my prayer to God, and he will be my saviour.
16 Then let us come near to the seat of grace without fear, so that mercy may be given to us, and we may get grace for our help in time of need.
6 Let him make his request in faith, doubting nothing; for he who has doubt in his heart is like the waves of the sea, which are troubled by the driving of the wind.
13 And whatever request you make in my name, that I will do, so that the Father may have glory in the Son.
20 Now to him who is able to do in full measure more than all our desires or thoughts, through the power which is working in us,
18 I said in my heart, The Lord will not give ear to me:
24 For this reason I say to you, Whatever you make a request for in prayer, have faith that it has been given to you, and you will have it.
26 And in the same way the Spirit is a help to our feeble hearts: for we are not able to make prayer to God in the right way; but the Spirit puts our desires into words which are not in our power to say;
27 And he who is the searcher of hearts has knowledge of the mind of the Spirit, because he is making prayers for the saints in agreement with the mind of God.
27 But I say to you who give ear to me, Have love for those who are against you, do good to those who have hate for you,
28 Give blessing to those who give you curses, say prayers for those who are cruel to you.
18 I said in my heart, The Lord will not give ear to me:
19 But truly God's ear has been open; he has give attention to the voice of my prayer.
24 For this reason I say to you, Whatever you make a request for in prayer, have faith that it has been given to you, and you will have it.
17 My voice went up to him, and I was lifted up from the underworld.
9 Let this then be your prayer: Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy.
10 Let your kingdom come. Let your pleasure be done, as in heaven, so on earth.
11 Give us this day bread for our needs.
12 And make us free of our debts, as we have made those free who are in debt to us.
13 And let us not be put to the test, but keep us safe from the Evil One.
9 As for the man whose ear is turned away from hearing the law, even his prayer is disgusting.
12 Being glad in hope, quiet in trouble, at all times given to prayer,
22 And all things, whatever you make request for in prayer, having faith, you will get.
3 \4:2\O you sons of men, how long will you go on turning my glory into shame? how long will you give your love to foolish things, going after what is false? (Selah.)
19 O people, living in Zion, at Jerusalem, your weeping will be ended; he will certainly have mercy on you at the sound of your cry; when it comes to his ear, he will give you an answer.
2 Give yourselves to prayer at all times, keeping watch with praise;
16 So then, make a statement of your sins to one another, and say prayers for one another so that you may be made well. The prayer of a good man is full of power in its working.
16 Then let us come near to the seat of grace without fear, so that mercy may be given to us, and we may get grace for our help in time of need.
5 But if any man among you is without wisdom, let him make his request to God, who gives freely to all without an unkind word, and it will be given to him.
6 Let him make his request in faith, doubting nothing; for he who has doubt in his heart is like the waves of the sea, which are troubled by the driving of the wind.
7 Let it not seem to such a man that he will get anything from the Lord;
8 For there is a division in his mind, and he is uncertain in all his ways.
19 Up! give cries in the night, at the starting of the night-watches; let your heart be flowing out like water before the face of the Lord, lifting up your hands to him for the life of your young children who are falling down, feeble for need of food, at the top of every street.
7 Take your rest in the Lord, waiting quietly for him; do not be angry because of the man who does well in his evil ways, and gives effect to his bad designs.
20 For where two or three are come together in my name, there am I among them.
25 But about the middle of the night, Paul and Silas were making prayers and songs to God in the hearing of the prisoners;
19 And my God will give you all you have need of from the wealth of his glory in Christ Jesus.
7 Make a request, and it will be answered; what you are searching for you will get; give the sign, and the door will be open to you:
5 For the waves of death came round me, and the seas of evil put me in fear;
6 The cords of hell were round me: the nets of death came on me.
7 In my trouble my voice went up to the Lord, and my cry to my God: my voice came to his hearing in his holy Temple, and my prayer came to his ears.
2 Happy are they who keep his unchanging word, searching after him with all their heart.
13 And whatever request you make in my name, that I will do, so that the Father may have glory in the Son.
14 If you make any request to me in my name, I will do it.
24 Up to now you have made no request in my name: do so, and it will be answered, so that your hearts may be full of joy.
5 And when you make your prayers, be not like the false-hearted men, who take pleasure in getting up and saying their prayers in the Synagogues and at the street turnings so that they may be seen by men. Truly I say to you, They have their reward.
10 I have made search for you with all my heart: O let me not go wandering far from your teaching.
24 For this reason I say to you, Whatever you make a request for in prayer, have faith that it has been given to you, and you will have it.
9 And I say to you, Make requests, and they will be answered; what you are searching for, you will get; when you give the sign, the door will be open to you.
10 For to everyone who makes a request, it will be given; and he who is searching will get his desire; and to him who gives the sign, the door will be open.
22 And he gives us all our requests, because we keep his laws and do the things which are pleasing in his eyes.
20 Still, he did not give up faith in the undertaking of God, but was made strong by faith, giving glory to God,
21 And being certain that God was able to keep his word.
6 \18:5\The cords of hell were round me: the nets of death came on me.
13 And you will be searching for me and I will be there, when you have gone after me with all your heart.
11 If you, then, being evil, are able to give good things to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who make requests to him?
39 And he went forward a little, and falling down on his face in prayer, he said, O my Father, if it is possible, let this cup go from me; but let not my pleasure, but yours be done.
7 And in your prayer do not make use of the same words again and again, as the Gentiles do: for they have the idea that God will give attention to them because of the number of their words.
8 So be not like them; because your Father has knowledge of your needs even before you make your requests to him.
15 Let your voice come up to me in the day of trouble; I will be your saviour, so that you may give glory to me.
18 With prayers and deep desires, making requests at all times in the Spirit, and keeping watch, with strong purpose, in prayer for all the saints,
16 Then let us come near to the seat of grace without fear, so that mercy may be given to us, and we may get grace for our help in time of need.
17 Keep on with your prayers.
14 And we are certain that if we make any request to him which is right in his eyes, he will give ear to us:
15 And if we are certain that he gives ear to all our requests, we are equally certain that we will get our requests.
44 But when their cry came to his ears, he had pity on their trouble:
45 And kept in mind his agreement with them, and in his great mercy gave them forgiveness.
16 Have joy at all times.
17 Keep on with your prayers.
18 In everything give praise: for this is the purpose of God in Christ Jesus for you.
7 But the end of all things is near: so be serious in your behaviour and keep on the watch with prayer;
12 And you will go on crying to me and making prayer to me, and I will give ear to you.
20 Now to him who is able to do in full measure more than all our desires or thoughts, through the power which is working in us,
31 Simon, Simon, Satan has made a request to have you, so that he may put you to the test as grain is tested:
32 But I have made prayer for you, that your faith may not go from you: and when you are turned again, make your brothers strong.
6 And without faith it is not possible to be well-pleasing to him, for it is necessary for anyone who comes to God to have the belief that God is, and that he is a rewarder of all those who make a serious search for him.
7 And in your prayer do not make use of the same words again and again, as the Gentiles do: for they have the idea that God will give attention to them because of the number of their words.
15 And if we are certain that he gives ear to all our requests, we are equally certain that we will get our requests.
16 So then, make a statement of your sins to one another, and say prayers for one another so that you may be made well. The prayer of a good man is full of power in its working.
26 And in the same way the Spirit is a help to our feeble hearts: for we are not able to make prayer to God in the right way; but the Spirit puts our desires into words which are not in our power to say;
27 And he who is the searcher of hearts has knowledge of the mind of the Spirit, because he is making prayers for the saints in agreement with the mind of God.
6 Let him make his request in faith, doubting nothing; for he who has doubt in his heart is like the waves of the sea, which are troubled by the driving of the wind.
7 Let it not seem to such a man that he will get anything from the Lord;
11 The Lord, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, says, Will you put a question to me about the things which are to come, or will you give me orders about my sons, and the work of my hands?
16 You did not take me for yourselves, but I took you for myself; and I gave you the work of going about and producing fruit which will be for ever; so that whatever request you make to the Father in my name he may give it to you.
8 It is my desire, then, that in every place men may give themselves to prayer, lifting up holy hands, without wrath or argument.
40 Let us make search and put our ways to the test, turning again to the Lord;
41 Lifting up our hearts with our hands to God in the heavens.
18 The Lord is near all those who give honour to his name; even to all who give honour to him with true hearts.
8 And about this thing I made request to the Lord three times that it might be taken away from me.
9 And he said to me, My grace is enough for you, for my power is made complete in what is feeble. Most gladly, then, will I take pride in my feeble body, so that the power of Christ may be on me.
17 \102:16\When the Lord has put up the walls of Zion, and has been been in his glory;
12 But even now, says the Lord, come back to me with all your heart, keeping from food, with weeping and with sorrow:
13 And whatever request you make in my name, that I will do, so that the Father may have glory in the Son.
14 If you make any request to me in my name, I will do it.
18 Truly I say to you, Whatever things are fixed by you on earth will be fixed in heaven: and whatever you make free on earth will be made free in heaven.
6 But when you make your prayer, go into your private room, and, shutting the door, say a prayer to your Father in secret, and your Father, who sees in secret, will give you your reward.
1 And he made a story for them, the point of which was that men were to go on making prayer and not get tired;
2 Saying, There was a judge in a certain town, who had no fear of God or respect for man:
3 And there was a widow in that town, and she kept on coming to him and saying, Give me my right against the man who has done me wrong.
4 And for a time he would not: but later, he said to himself, Though I have no fear of God or respect for man,
5 Because this widow is a trouble to me, I will give her her right; for if not, I will be completely tired out by her frequent coming.
6 And the Lord said, Give ear to the words of the evil judge.
7 And will not God do right in the cause of his saints, whose cries come day and night to his ears, though he is long in doing it?
8 I say to you that he will quickly do right in their cause. But when the Son of man comes, will there be any faith on earth?
6 But when you make your prayer, go into your private room, and, shutting the door, say a prayer to your Father in secret, and your Father, who sees in secret, will give you your reward.
7 And in your prayer do not make use of the same words again and again, as the Gentiles do: for they have the idea that God will give attention to them because of the number of their words.
25 So that he is fully able to be the saviour of all who come to God through him, because he is ever living to make prayer to God for them.
21 []
14 And they all with one mind gave themselves up to prayer, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and his brothers.
3 \5:2\Let the voice of my cry come to you, my King and my God; for to you will I make my prayer.
18 With prayers and deep desires, making requests at all times in the Spirit, and keeping watch, with strong purpose, in prayer for all the saints,
6 Have no cares; but in everything with prayer and praise put your requests before God.
3 Let your cry come to me, and I will give you an answer, and let you see great things and secret things of which you had no knowledge.
6 Make search for the Lord while he is there, make prayer to him while he is near:
8 It is my desire, then, that in every place men may give themselves to prayer, lifting up holy hands, without wrath or argument.
