19 I am in prison with chains on because I speak the good news about Jesus Christ. Ask God to help me to tell the good news without fear as I should tell it.
20 Tychicus will tell you all about me and what I am doing. He is a brother whom I love and a very good helper in the Lords work.
29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered them, We must obey God rather than men.
4 But God chose us to tell people the good news. And so we do not speak to please men, but to please God. He is the one who knows what is in our hearts.

12 Obey every officer of the government to please the Lord. Obey the king because he is over all.

14 You are like light in the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hidden.
15 So also with a lamp. People do not light a lamp and put it under a basket. But they put it on the place for a lamp. Then all the people in the house can see its light.
16 So, let your light shine to all people. Then they will see the good things you do. And they will praise your Father in heaven.

8 So do not be ashamed to talk about our Lord. And do not be ashamed of me. I am his prisoner. Be patient in your trouble also, because you tell the good news. God will give you the power to do it.
15 Talk about these things. Tell people they must do them. And use all your power to stop people if they are doing wrong. Do not let anyone despise you.
