24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse {your} hands, sinners, and purify {your} hearts, ye double-minded.
1 [To the chief Musician. An instruction; of the sons of Korah.] As the hart panteth after the water-brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.
2 My soul thirsteth for God, for the living *God: when shall I come and appear before God?
17 Jehovah thy God is in thy midst, a mighty one that will save: he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love; he will exult over thee with singing.
1 Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters; and he that hath no money, come ye, buy, and eat: yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price!
2 Wherefore do ye spend money for {that which is} not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? Hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye {that which is} good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
3 Incline your ear, and come unto me; hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, the sure mercies of David.
4 Behold, I have given him {for} a witness to the peoples, a prince and commander to the peoples.
5 Behold, thou shalt call a nation thou knowest not, and a nation {that} knew not thee shall run unto thee, because of Jehovah thy God, and the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.
6 Seek ye Jehovah while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near.
22 And the glory which thou hast given me I have given them, that they may be one, as we are one;
23 I in them and thou in me, that they may be perfected into one {and} that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and {that} thou hast loved them as thou hast loved me.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us {our} sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1 [A Psalm of David; when he was in the wilderness of Judah.] O God, thou art my *God; early will I seek thee. My soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh languisheth for thee, in a dry and weary land without water:
2 To see thy power and thy glory, as I have beheld thee in the sanctuary;
3 For thy loving-kindness is better than life: my lips shall praise thee.
4 So will I bless thee while I live; I will lift up my hands in thy name.
5 My soul is satisfied as with marrow and fatness, and my mouth shall praise {thee} with joyful lips.
6 When I remember thee upon my bed, I meditate on thee in the night-watches:
7 For thou hast been my help, and in the shadow of thy wings will I sing for joy.
8 My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.
9 But those that seek my soul, to destroy {it}, shall go into the lower parts of the earth;
10 They shall be given over to the power of the sword; they shall be the portion of foxes.
11 But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: for the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith Jehovah, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you in your latter end a hope.
3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and I will shew thee great and hidden things, which thou knowest not.
