26 Jesus therefore, seeing his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, says to his mother, Woman, behold thy son.

27 Then he says unto the disciple, Behold thy mother. And from that hour the disciple took her to his own home.

26 Als Jesus seine Mutter neben dem Jünger stehen sah, den er besonders liebte, sagte er zu ihr: "Das ist jetzt dein Sohn!"

27 Und zu dem Jünger sagte er: "Das ist nun deine Mutter!" Der Jünger nahm sie zu sich und sorgte von da an für sie.
