1 But it shall come to pass in the end of days {that} the mountain of Jehovah's house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be lifted up above the hills; and the peoples shall flow unto it.

2 And many nations shall go and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths. For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and Jehovah's word from Jerusalem.

3 And he shall judge among many peoples, and reprove strong nations, even afar off; and they shall forge their swords into ploughshares, and their spears into pruning-knives: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

4 And they shall sit every one under his vine, and under his fig-tree; and there shall be none to make {them} afraid: for the mouth of Jehovah of hosts hath spoken {it}.

5 For all the peoples will walk every one in the name of his god; but we will walk in the name of Jehovah, our God for ever and ever.

6 In that day, saith Jehovah, will I assemble her that halteth, and I will gather her that is driven out, and her that I have afflicted;

7 and I will make her that halted a remnant, and her that was cast far off a strong nation; and Jehovah shall reign over them in mount Zion, from henceforth even for ever.

8 And thou, O tower of the flock, hill of the daughter of Zion, unto thee shall it come, yea, the first dominion shall come, -the kingdom to the daughter of Jerusalem.

9 Now why dost thou cry out aloud? Is there no king in thee? is thy counsellor perished, that pangs have seized thee as a woman in travail?

10 Be in pain, and labour to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail; for now shalt thou go forth out of the city, and thou shalt dwell in the field, and thou shalt go even to Babylon: there shalt thou be delivered; there Jehovah will redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies.

11 And now many nations are assembled against thee, that say, Let her be profaned, and let our eye look upon Zion.

12 But they know not the thoughts of Jehovah, neither understand they his counsel; for he hath gathered them together as the sheaves into the threshing-floor.

13 Arise and thresh, daughter of Zion, for I will make thy horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass; and thou shalt beat in pieces many peoples; and I will devote their gain to Jehovah, and their substance to the Lord of the whole earth.

1 Mas acontecerá nos últimos dias que o monte da casa de Jeová será estabelecido no cume dos montes, e será exaltado sobre os outeiros; e a ele concorrerão povos.

2 Irão muitas nações e dirão: Vinde, subamos ao monte de Jeová, e à casa do Deus de Jacó; ele nos ensinará acerca dos seus caminhos, e andaremos nas suas veredas; porque de Sião sairá a lei, e de Jerusalém a palavra do senhor.

3 Ele julgará entre muitos povos, e reprovará nações poderosas e longínquas; eles converterão as suas espadas em relhas de arados, as suas lanças em podadeiras; uma nação não levantará a espada contra outra nação, nem aprenderão mais a guerra.

4 Mas sentar-se-ão cada um debaixo da sua parreira e debaixo da sua figueira; e não haverá quem os amedronte; porque a boca de Jeová dos exércitos o disse.

5 Pois todos os povos andarão, cada um em o nome do seu deus, e nós andaremos para todo o sempre em o nome de Jeová nosso Deus.

6 Naquele dia, diz Jeová, congregarei a que coxeia, e ajuntarei a que foi expulsa, e a que eu afligi.

7 Da que coxeia farei um resto, e da que estava lançada para longe uma nação poderosa; e Jeová reinará sobre eles no monte de Sião, desde agora e para sempre.

8 Tu, ó torre do rebanho, outeiro da filha de Sião, a ti virá, sim virá o primeiro domínio, o reino da filha de Jerusalém.

9 Agora porque gritas em alta voz? Acaso não há rei em ti, pereceu o teu conselheiro, visto que se apoderaram de ti dores como da que está de parto?

10 Sofre dores, e trabalha para dar à luz, filha de Sião, como uma mulher que está de parto; porque agora sairás da cidade, e habitarás no campo, e virás até Babilônia. Ali é que serás livrada; ali te remirá Jeová da mão dos teus inimigos.

11 Agora se acham congregadas contra ti muitas nações que diziam: Seja ela contaminada, e vejam os nossos olhos o seu desejo sobre Sião.

12 Porém não sabem os pensamentos de Jeová, nem lhe entendem o conselho; porque as ajuntou como os feixes na eira.

13 Levanta-te e debulha, ó filha de Sião, porque farei de ferro o teu chifre, e de bronze as tuas unhas; quebrarás em pedaços a muitos povos, e dedicarás o seu ganho a Jeová e os seus bens ao Senhor de toda a terra.
