13 And the blood shall be for you as a sign on the houses in which ye are; and when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be among you for destruction, when I smite the land of Egypt.

13 Und das Blut an den Häusern, in denen ihr seid, soll als Merkmal zu eueren Gunsten dienen; denn wenn ich das Blut erblicke, will ich schonend an euch vorübergehen und es soll euch kein Leid und Verderben treffen, wenn ich den Schlag gegen Ägypten führe.
