1 [{A Psalm} of David.] Bless Jehovah, O my soul; and all that is within me, {bless} his holy name!
28 And be not afraid of those who kill the body, but cannot kill the soul; but fear rather him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
23 My lips shall exult when I sing psalms unto thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed.
1 [To the chief Musician. On Jeduthun. A Psalm of David.] Upon God alone doth my soul rest peacefully; from him is my salvation.
2 Jehovah, deliver my soul from the lying lip, from the deceitful tongue.
1 [A Psalm of David; when he was in the wilderness of Judah.] O God, thou art my *God; early will I seek thee. My soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh languisheth for thee, in a dry and weary land without water:
7 The law of Jehovah is perfect, restoring the soul; the testimony of Jehovah is sure, making wise the simple;
2 Beloved, I desire that in all things thou shouldest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospers.
16 Thus saith Jehovah: Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the ancient paths, which is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk {therein}.
5 Only, take great heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of Jehovah commanded you, to love Jehovah your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.
24 Pleasant words are {as} a honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health for the bones.
13 For thou hast possessed my reins; thou didst cover me in my mother's womb.
14 I will praise thee, for I am fearfully, wonderfully made. Marvellous are thy works; and {that} my soul knoweth right well.
26 For what does a man profit, if he should gain the whole world and suffer the loss of his soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
13 and ye shall seek me and find me, for ye shall search for me with all your heart,
5 I wait for Jehovah; my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.
11 Why art thou cast down, my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God; for I shall yet praise him, {who is} the health of my countenance, and my God.
14 And behold, I am going this day the way of all the earth; and ye know in all your heart, and in all your soul, that not one thing hath failed of all the good words that Jehovah your God hath spoken concerning you: all are come to pass unto you-not one thing hath failed thereof.
29 And from thence ye shall seek Jehovah thy God, and thou shalt find him, if thou shalt seek him with thy whole heart and with thy whole soul.
37 And he said to him, Thou shalt love {the} Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy understanding.
