1 [A Psalm of David.] Jehovah is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; he leadeth me beside still waters.
5 I called upon Jah in distress; Jah answered me {and set me} in a large place.
13 For I, Jehovah, thy God, hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
11 Not that I speak as regards privation, for as to me *I* have learnt in those circumstances in which I am, to be satisfied in myself.
18 When I said, My foot slippeth, thy loving-kindness, O Jehovah, held me up.
5 I am the vine, ye {are} the branches. He that abides in me and I in him, *he* bears much fruit; for without me ye can do nothing.
16 Have the same respect one for another, not minding high things, but going along with the lowly: be not wise in your own eyes:
5 Confide in Jehovah with all thy heart, and lean not unto thine own intelligence;
6 in all thy ways acknowledge him, and he will make plain thy paths.
3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved; he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
3 For not by their own sword did they take possession of the land, neither did their own arm save them; but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst delight in them.
8 I have set Jehovah continually before me; because {he is} at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
14 Jehovah will fight for you, and ye shall be still.
1 [Michtam of David.] Preserve me, O *God: for I trust in thee.
21 Many are the thoughts in a man's heart, but the counsel of Jehovah, that doth stand.
26 My flesh and my heart faileth: God is the rock of my heart and my portion for ever.
22 The blessing of Jehovah, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow to it.
9 The heart of man deviseth his way, but Jehovah directeth his steps.
34 Be not careful therefore for the morrow, for the morrow shall be careful about itself. Sufficient to the day {is} its own evil.
14 But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer willingly after this manner? for all is of thee, and of that which is from thy hand have we given thee.
29 He giveth power to the faint; and to him that hath no might he increaseth strength.
4 For, as in one body we have many members, but all the members have not the same office;
5 thus we, {being} many, are one body in Christ, and each one members one of the other.
1 [A Song of degrees. Of Solomon.] Unless Jehovah build the house, in vain do its builders labour in it; unless Jehovah keep the city, the keeper watcheth in vain:
1 [A Song of degrees.] I lift up mine eyes unto the mountains: whence shall my help come?
2 My help {cometh} from Jehovah, who made the heavens and the earth.
19 Restore us, O Jehovah, God of hosts; cause thy face to shine, and we shall be saved.
8 and they that are in flesh cannot please God.
