22 Now all this came to pass that that might be fulfilled which was spoken by {the} Lord, through the prophet, saying,
23 Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which is, being interpreted, 'God with us.'
24 But Joseph, having awoke up from his sleep, did as the angel of {the} Lord had enjoined him, and took to {him} his wife,
25 and knew her not until she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name Jesus.
14 Therefore will the Lord himself give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and shall bring forth a son, and call his name Immanuel.
10 I was cast upon thee from the womb; thou art my *God from my mother's belly.
18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was thus: His mother, Mary, that is, having been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found to be with child of {the} Holy Spirit.
19 But Joseph, her husband, being {a} righteous {man}, and unwilling to expose her publicly, purposed to have put her away secretly;
20 but while he pondered on these things, behold, an angel of {the} Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, Joseph, son of David, fear not to take to {thee} Mary, thy wife, for that which is begotten in her is of {the} Holy Spirit.
21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus, for *he* shall save his people from their sins.
16 And having taken them in his arms, having laid his hands on them, he blessed them.
5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I hallowed thee, I appointed thee a prophet unto the nations.
27 For this boy I prayed; and Jehovah has granted me my petition which I asked of him.
13 For thou hast possessed my reins; thou didst cover me in my mother's womb.
14 I will praise thee, for I am fearfully, wonderfully made. Marvellous are thy works; and {that} my soul knoweth right well.
15 My bones were not hidden from thee when I was made in secret, curiously wrought in the lower parts of the earth.
16 Thine eyes did see my unformed substance, and in thy book all {my members} were written; {during many} days were they fashioned, when {as yet} there was none of them.
4 Whoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, *he* is the greatest in the kingdom of the heavens;
5 and whosoever shall receive one such little child in my name, receives me.
3 Jesus answered and said to him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except any one be born anew he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 For thou, Jehovah, hast made me glad through thy work; I will triumph in the works of thy hands.
14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and do not hinder them from coming to me; for the kingdom of the heavens is of such:
34 But Mary said to the angel, How shall this be, since I know not a man?
35 And the angel answering said to her, {The} Holy Spirit shall come upon thee, and power of {the} Highest overshadow thee, wherefore the holy thing also which shall be born shall be called Son of God.
30 And the angel said to her, Fear not, Mary, for thou hast found favour with God;
31 and behold, thou shalt conceive in the womb and bear a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus.
32 *He* shall be great, and shall be called Son of {the} Highest; and {the} Lord God shall give him the throne of David his father;
33 and he shall reign over the house of Jacob for the ages, and of his kingdom there shall not be an end.
9 Whoever has been begotten of God does not practise sin, because his seed abides in him, and he cannot sin, because he has been begotten of God.
26 But in the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent of God to a city of Galilee, of which {the} name {was} Nazareth,
27 to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name {was} Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name {was} Mary.
15 Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Even these forget, but I will not forget thee.
6 On thee have I been stayed from the womb; from the bowels of my mother thou didst draw me forth: my praise shall be continually of thee.
9 But thou art he that took me out of the womb; thou didst make me trust, upon my mother's breasts.
3 Lo, children are an inheritance from Jehovah, {and} the fruit of the womb a reward.
9 Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him; Meditate upon all his wondrous works.
21 A woman, when she gives birth to a child, has grief because her hour has come; but when the child is born, she no longer remembers the trouble, on account of the joy that a man has been born into the world.
9 Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith Jehovah; I who cause to bring forth, shall I shut {the womb}? saith thy God.
