1 Do we begin again ourselves to commend? or not we need, as some, of recommendation letters to you or from you of recommendation?
2 The letter of us you are, having been written in the hearts of you, being known and being read by all men;
3 being manifest, that you are a letter of Anointed having been ministered by us, having been written not with ink, but by spirit of God living, not on tablets of stones, but on tablets of hearts fleshly.
4 Confidence but such we have through the Anointed towards the God;
5 not because sufficient we are from ourselves, to reason anything, as from ourselves, but the sufficiency of us from of the God;
6 who also qualified us servants of a new covenant, not of letter, but of spirit; the for letter kills, the but spirit gives life.
7 If but the service of the death in letters, having been engraved in stone, was made in glory, so that not to be able to look steadily the sons of Israel into the face of Moses, on account of the glory of the face of him, that passing away;
8 how not rather the service of the spirit shall be in glory;
9 if for the service of the condemnation, glory; much more abounds the service of the righteousness in glory.
10 Even for not has been glorified that having been glorified in this the respect, on account of the surpassing glory.
11 If for that is being annulled, through glory; by much more that remaining, in glory.
12 Having therefore such a hope, much freedom we use;
13 and not, as Moses placed a veil on the face of himself, for the not to gaze intently the sons of Israel to the end of that passing away.
14 (But were blinded the minds of them; till for the today the same veil on the reading of the old covenant, remains, not being discovered, because by Anointed it is taken away;
15 but till today, when is read Moses, a veil on the heart of them lies.
16 When but it may turn to Lord, is taken from around the veil.
17 The but Lord the spirit is; where and the spirit of Lord there freedom.)
18 We but all having been unveiled in a face the glory of Lord beholding as in a mirror, the same image we are transformed from glory to glory, even as from Lord of spirit.
1 Are we beginning again to commend ourselves? Or do we need, as some do, letters of commendation to you or from you?
2 You are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by all men.
3 It is known that you are a letter of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God. It is not written on tablets of stone, but on tablets of flesh that are of the heart.
4 We have such confidence through Christ toward God.
5 We are not adequate by ourselves to account for anything. Our adequacy is from God.
6 He also made us sufficient as ministers of a new covenant. This is a covenant not of the letter, but of the Spirit: for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
7 The ministry of death was written and engraved on stones. Glory came with it so that the children of Israel could not look steadfastly upon the face of Moses. And this glory was passing away.
8 How shall the ministry of the Spirit not be with glory?
9 For if the ministry of condemnation has glory then the ministry of righteousness would exceed in glory.
10 Even what was glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the greater glory.
11 If that which passes away was with glory, that which remains is even more glorious.
12 Since we have such a hope we use great boldness of speech.
13 We are not like Moses, who put a veil upon his face, that the children of Israel should not look steadily on the end of that which was passing away:
14 Their minds were blinded. Until this day the same veil remains at the reading of the old covenant. It is not revealed to them that Christ voided it.
15 But to this day, whenever Moses is read, a veil lies upon their heart.
16 When one turns to God, the veil is taken away.
17 Now God is the Spirit and where the Spirit of God is, there is liberty freedom.
18 We all, with unveiled face, behold as in a mirror the glory of God and are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, exactly as from Gods Spirit.
