1 And when he opened the seal the seventh, was silence in the heaven about half an hour.
2 And I saw the seven messengers, who in presence of the God have stood; and were given to them seven trumpets.
3 And another messenger came, and stood at the altar, having a censer golden; and was given to him incenses many, so that he might give for the prayers of the holy ones of all on the altar the golden that in presence of the throne.
4 And went up the smoke of the incenses with the prayers of the holy ones from hand of the messenger, in presence of the God.
5 And took the messenger the censer, and filled him from the fire of the altar, and cast into the earth; and were voices and thunders and lightnings and an earthquake.
6 And the seven messengers, those having the seven trumpets, prepared themselves, so that they might sound.
7 And the first sounded, and was hail and fire having been mingled with blood, and they were cast into the earth; and the third of the earth was burnt up, and the third of the trees was burnt up, and all grass green was burnt up.
8 And the second messenger sounded, and as it were a mountain great with fire burning was cast into the sea; and became the third of the sea, blood;
9 and died the third of the creatures of the in the sea, things having souls; and the third of the ships was destroyed.
10 And the third messenger sounded, and fell from the heaven a star great burning like a lamp, and it fell on the third of the rivers, and on the fountains of the waters.
11 And the name of the star is called the Wormwood; and became the third of the waters into wormwood; and many of the men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.
12 And the fourth messenger sounded, and was smitten the third of the sun and the third of the moon and the third of the stars, so that might be darkened the third of them, and the day not might shine the third of herself, and the night in like manner.
13 And I saw and I heard one eagle flying in midheaven, saying with a voice great: Woe, woe, woe to those dwelling on the earth, from the remaining sounds of the trumpet of the three messengers of those being about to sound.
1 When the Lamb opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about a half an hour.
2 I saw the seven angels who stood before God. Seven trumpets were given to them.
3 Another angel, with a golden incense vessel, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense so he could offer it with the prayers of all the holy ones upon the golden altar before the throne.
4 The smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the holy ones, ascended up, out of the angel's hand, before God.
5 The angel took the incense vessel, and filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it to the earth. There were voices, and thundering and lightning, and an earthquake.
6 The seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound them.
7 The first angel blew his trumpet. Hail and fire mixed with blood came down upon the earth. A third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up.
8 The second angel blew his trumpet. Something like a great mountain burning with fire was hurled into the sea. A third of the sea became blood.
9 A third of the living creatures in the sea died. And a third of the ships were destroyed.
10 The third angel blew his trumpet. A great star burning like a lamp fell from heaven. It fell upon a third of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters.
11 The star is called Wormwood CalamityBitterness: and a third of the waters became wormwood; and many men died from the waters, because they were made bitter.
12 The fourth angel blew his trumpet. A third of the sun was struck. A third of the moon, and a third of the stars were darkened. The illumination of both day and night was cut by one third.
13 Then I saw and heard an angel flying in midheaven. He said with a loud voice: "Woe, woe, woe to those dwelling on earth, because of the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the three angels who are about to sound!"
