1 and you being dead ones in the faults and the sins;
2 (in which once you walked according to the age of the world this, according to the ruler of the authority of the air, of the spirit of that now operating in the sons of the disobedience;
3 among whom also we all lived once in the desires of the flesh of us, doing the wishes of the flesh and of the thoughts, and we were children by nature of wrath, as also the others;
4 the but God, rich being in mercy, through the much love of himself, with which he loved us,)
5 and being us dead ones in the faults, he quickened together with the Anointed; (by favor you are having been saved;)
6 and raised up together, and seated together in the heavenlies by Anointed Jesus, Ephesians
7 that he may point out in the ages those coming the surpassing wealth of the favor of himself, by kindness towards us in Anointed Jesus.
8 By the for favor you are having been saved through the faith; and this not from you; of God the gift,
9 not from works; so that not any one should boast.
10 Of him for we are a work having been formed in Anointed Jesus for works good, in which before prepared the God that in them we should walk.
11 Therefore remember, that you once Gentiles in flesh, (those being called uncircumcision by the being called circumcision in flesh done by hand,)
12 that you were in the season that, without Anointed, having been aliens from the common wealth of the Israel, and strangers from the covenants of the promise, a hope not having, and godless, in the world;
13 now but, in Anointed Jesus, you those once being far off, near were made by the blood of the Anointed.
14 He for is the peace of us, the one having made the things both one, and the middle wall of the fence having broken up,
15 the enmity; by the flesh of himself the law of the commandments in ordinances having made powerless; so that the two he might form in himself into one new man, making peace;
16 and he might reconcile the both in one body to the God through the cross, having killed the enmity by it.
17 And having come he announced as glad tidings peace to you to those far off and to those near,
18 because through him we have the access the both with one spirit to the Father. Ephesians
19 So then no longer you are strangers and sojourners, but fellowcitizens of the holy ones and familymembers of the God,
20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, being a cornerfoundation of it Jesus Anointed;
21 on which all the building being fitly compacted together grows up into the temple holy in Lord;
22 on which also you are built up together, for salvation of the God in spirit.
1 You were once dead because of your trespasses and sins.
2 You once walked according to the course of this world, according to the ruler of the power authority and jurisdiction of the air, the spirit that is now active in the sons of disobedience.
3 We all once lived in the lust of our flesh, indulging the desires lusts of the flesh and of the mind. We were by nature children of anger and violent passion, like everyone else.
4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of his great love with which he loved us,
5 even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ. For by grace loving-kindness you have been saved.
6 God raised us up with him and made us to sit with him in the heavenly places, with Christ Jesus.
7 So in the ages to come he, with Christ Jesus, might show the exceeding surpassingexceptional riches of his grace with kindness toward us.
8 By grace Greek: charis, divine favor, loving-kindness you have been saved through faith. It is not from you. It is the gift from God!
9 It is not the result of works. So no man should boast.
10 For we are his workmanship created with Christ Jesus for good works. God prepared these works in advance that we should walk in them.
11 Remember that you were once people of the nations in the flesh. You are called uncircumcision by that which is called circumcision, in the flesh, made by human hands.
12 You were separate from Christ at that time, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel. You were strangers from the covenants of the promise. You had no hope and were without God in the world.
13 You were once far off but now with Christ Jesus, the blood of Christ has brought you near.
14 For he is our peace, who made both Jews and Gentiles one, and broke down the middle barrier of partition.
15 Christ abolished in his flesh the enmity ill will, which the law of commandments contained in ordinances. That way he might create one new man, out of the two, with himself establishing peace.
16 So he reconciled them both in one body to God through the stake. He put to death the enmity antagonismhostility.
17 He came and preached peace to you who were far off, and peace to those who were near.
18 We both have access to the Father by one Spirit through him.
19 So then you are no longer strangers and aliens. You are fellow citizens with the holy ones and of the household of God.
20 You are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets. Christ Jesus is the chief corner stone.
21 In him each building fits together and grows into a »holy Temple for Jehovah.« (Zechariah 6:12)
22 In Christ you are assembled together as a place for Gods Spirit to dwell.
