55 Dood, waar is uw prikkel? Hel, waar is uw overwinning?

56 De prikkel nu des doods is de zonde; en de kracht der zonde is de wet.

57 Maar Gode zij dank, Die ons de overwinning geeft door onzen Heere Jezus Christus.

55 O death, where is thy victory? O death, where is thy sting? 56 The sting of death is sin; and the power of sin is the law: 57 but thanks be to God, who giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
