16 Gehe hin, versammle alle Juden, die sich in Susan befinden; und fastet meinethalben, und esset nicht und trinket nicht drei Tage lang, Nacht und Tag; auch ich werde mit meinen Dirnen ebenso fasten. Und alsdann will ich zu dem König hineingehen, was nicht nach dem Gesetz ist; und wenn ich umkomme, so komme ich um!

16 Go, gather together all the Jews that are found in Shushan, and fast for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise, and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law; and if I perish, I perish.
