28 Und er war daselbst bei Jehova vierzig Tage und vierzig Nächte; er aß kein Brot und trank kein Wasser. Und er {d.i. Jehova} schrieb auf die Tafeln die Worte des Bundes, die zehn Worte.

28 -And he was there with Jehovah forty days and forty nights; he ate no bread, and drank no water. -And he wrote on the tables the words of the covenant, the ten words.
