3 Und Bela hatte Söhne: Addar und Gera und Abihud,

4 und Abischua und Naaman und Achoach,

5 und Gera und Schephuphan und Huram. -

6 Und dies sind die Söhne Echuds: (diese waren die Häupter der Väter der Bewohner von Geba; und man führte sie weg nach Manachath,

7 nämlich Naaman und Achija und Gera; dieser führte sie weg) er zeugte Ussa und Achichud. -

8 Und Schacharaim zeugte Söhne im Gefilde Moab, nachdem er Huschim und Baara, seine Weiber, entlassen hatte;

9 und er zeugte von Hodesch, seinem Weibe: Jobab und Zibja und Mescha und Malkam,

10 und Jeuz und Schobja und Mirma. Das waren seine Söhne, Häupter der Väter.

11 Und von Huschim zeugte er Abitub und Elpaal.

12 Und die Söhne Elpaals: Heber {O. Eber} und Mischeam und Schemer; dieser baute Ono, und Lod und seine Tochterstädte.

13 Und Beria und Schema (diese waren die Häupter der Väter der Bewohner von Ajalon; sie verjagten die Bewohner von Gath)

14 und Achjo, Schaschak und Jeremoth,

15 und Sebadja und Arad und Eder,

16 und Michael und Jischpa und Jocha waren die Söhne Berias.

17 Und Sebadja und Meschullam und Hiski und Heber,

18 und Jischmerai und Jislia und Jobab waren die Söhne Elpaals. -

19 Und Jakim und Sichri und Sabdi,

20 und Elienai und Zillethai und Eliel,

21 und Adaja und Beraja und Schimrath waren die Söhne Simeis. -

22 Und Jischpan und Heber {O. Eber} und Eliel,

23 und Abdon und Sichri und Hanan,

25 und Jiphdeja und Pnuel waren die Söhne Schaschaks. -

26 Und Schamscherai und Schecharja und Athalja,

27 und Jaareschja und Elia und Sichri waren die Söhne Jerochams.

28 Diese waren Häupter der Väter nach ihren Geschlechtern, Häupter; diese wohnten zu Jerusalem.

29 Und in Gibeon wohnte der Vater {Vergl. Kap. 9,35} Gibeons, und der Name seines Weibes war Maaka.

30 Und sein erstgeborener Sohn war Abdon, und Zur und Kis und Baal und Nadab,

31 und Gedor und Achjo und Seker;

32 und Mikloth zeugte Schimea. Und auch diese wohnten ihren Brüdern gegenüber in Jerusalem, bei ihren Brüdern. -

33 Und Ner zeugte Kis; und Kis zeugte Saul; und Saul zeugte Jonathan und Malkischua und Abinadab und Esch-Baal.

34 Und der Sohn Jonathans war Merib-Baal; und Merib-Baal zeugte Micha.

35 Und die Söhne Michas waren Pithon und Melek und Tharea und Achas.

36 Und Achas zeugte Jehoadda; und Jehoadda zeugte Alemeth und Asmaweth und Simri; und Simri zeugte Moza,

37 und Moza zeugte Binea: dessen Sohn Rapha, dessen Sohn Elasa, dessen Sohn Azel.

38 Und Azel hatte sechs Söhne; und dies sind ihre Namen: Asrikam, Bokru und Ismael und Schearja und Obadja und Hanan. Alle diese waren Söhne Azels.

39 Und die Söhne Escheks, seines Bruders: Ulam, sein Erstgeborener, Jeghusch, der zweite, und Eliphelet, der dritte.

All these were the sons of Azel. 39 The sons of Eshek his brother: Ulam his firstborn, Jeush the second, and Eliphelet the third. 40 The sons of Ulam were mighty men of valor, archers, and had many sons, and grandsons, one hundred fifty. All these were of the sons of Benjamin.
