10 Und als die Apostel zurückkehrten, erzählten sie ihm alles, was sie gethan hatten; und er nahm sie zu sich und entwich besonders an einen wüsten Ort einer Stadt, Namens Bethsaida.

11 Aber die Volksmenge wußtees und folgte ihm nach; und er nahm sie auf und redete zu ihnen vom Reiche Gottes, und die der Heilung bedurften, machte er gesund.

12 Der Tag aber begann sich zu neigen, und die Zwölfe traten hinzu und sprachen zu ihm: Entlaß die Volksmenge, damit sie gehen in die Dörfer ringsum und auf's Land, um Herberge und Speise zu finden, denn hier sind wir an einem wüsten Orte.

13 Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Gebet ihr ihnen zu essen. Sie aber sprachen: Wir haben nicht mehr denn fünf Brote und zwei Fische, es sei denn, daß wir hingehen und für dieses ganze Volk Speise kaufen sollen.

14 Denn es waren bei fünftausend Mann. Er aber sprach zu seinen Jüngern: Laßt sie sich reihenweise zu je fünfzig niederlagern.

15 Und sie thaten also, und ließen alle sich lagern.

16 Und er nahm die fünf Brote und die zwei Fische, blickte auf gen Himmel, segnete und brach und gab sie den Jüngern, um sie der Volksmenge vorzulegen.

17 Und sie aßen alle und wurden gesättigt; und es wurde aufgehoben, was ihnen an Brocken übrig geblieben war, zwölf Körbe.

10 And having returned the apostles related to him what things they had done; and taking them he withdrew by himself into a place desert of a city being called Bethsaida.

11 The and crowds having heard, they followed him. And having received them, he spake to them concerning the kingdom of the God, and those need having of healing, he cured.

12 The now day began to decline; coming and the twelve, said to him: Dismiss the crowd, that having gone into the surrounding villages and the farms, they may lodge, and find provisions; for here in a desert place we are.

13 He said but to them: Give to them you to eat. They and said: Not are to us more then five loaves, and fishes two, if not going we may buy for all the people this food.

14 They were for about men five thousand. He said and to the disciples of himself: Make recline them in companies each fifty.

15 And they did so, and they made recline all.

16 Taking and the five loaves and the two fishes, looking up to the heaven, he blessed them; and broke and gave to the disciples, to set before the crowd.

17 And they ate, and were satisfied all; and was taken up that having been left to them of fragments, baskets twelve.
