21 Jesus aber, ihn anblickend, liebte ihn und sprach zu ihm: Eins fehlt dir; gehe hin, verkaufe alles, was du hast, und gieb den Armen, und du wirst einen Schatz im Himmel haben, und komm, folge mir nach, das Kreuz aufnehmend.

22 Er aber, betrübt über das Wort, ging traurig hinweg, denn er hatte viele Güter.

21 He but Jesus looking on him, loved him, and said to him: One to thee lacks; go, whatever thou hast sell, and give to the poor; and thou shalt have treasure in heaven; and hither, follow me, take up the cross.

22 He but looking sad at the word, went away sorrowing; he was for having possessions many.
