4 Simon, der Kananäer, Sehr wahrsch. das hebr. Wort für den griech. Ausdruck "Zelotes" und Judas, der Iskariot, der ihn auch überlieferte.

2 Of the now twelve apostles the names are these: First, Simon that being called Peter, and Andrew the brother of him; James that of the Zebedee, and John the brother of him;

3 Phillip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the taxgatherer; James that of the Alpheus, and Lebbeus the surnamed Thaddeus;

4 Simon the Canaanite, and Judas that Iscariot, who even delivered up him.
