1 Und es geschah, als Jesus alle diese Reden vollendet hatte, sprach er zu seinen Jüngern:

2 Ihr wisset, daß nach zwei Tagen das Passah wird, und der Sohn des Menschen wird überliefert, um gekreuzigt zu werden.

3 Da versammelten sich die Hohenpriester und die Ältesten des Volkes in den Hof des Hohenpriesters, der Kajaphas hieß,

4 und hielten Rat zusammen, auf daß sie Jesum mit List griffen und töteten.

5 Sie sagten aber: Nicht auf dem Feste, damit nicht ein Aufruhr werde unter dem Volk.

6 Als aber Jesus zu Bethanien war, im Hause Simons, des Aussätzigen,

7 kam zu ihm ein Weib, die ein Alabasterfläschchen mit sehr kostbarer Salbe hatte, und sie goß es aus auf sein Haupt, als er zu Tische lag.

8 Als aber die Jünger es sahen, wurden sie unwillig und sprachen: Wozu diese Verschwendung?

9 denn dieses hätte um vieles verkauft und den Armen gegeben werden können.

10 Als aber Jesus es merkte, sprach er zu ihnen: Was macht ihr dem Weibe Mühe? denn sie hat ein gutes Werk an mir getan.

11 Denn die Armen habt ihr allezeit bei euch, mich aber habt ihr nicht allezeit.

12 Denn daß sie diese Salbe geschüttet hat über meinen Leib - sie hat es zu meinem Begräbnis O. zu meiner Einbalsamierung getan.

13 Wahrlich, ich sage euch: Wo irgend diese gute Botschaft gepredigt werden wird in der ganzen Welt, wird auch gesagt werden, was sie getan hat, zu ihrem Gedächtnis.

14 Dann ging von den Zwölfen einer, genannt Judas, der Iskariot, hin zu den Hohenpriestern

15 und sprach: Was wollt ihr mir geben, und ich werde ihn euch überliefern? Sie aber stellten ihm dreißig Silberlinge O. Silbersekel fest. O. wogen ihm... dar

16 Und von da an suchte er Gelegenheit, um ihn zu überliefern.

17 An dem ersten Tage der ungesäuerten Brote aber traten die Jünger zu Jesu und sprachen: Wo willst du, daß wir dir bereiten, das Passah zu essen?

18 Er aber sprach: Gehet in die Stadt zu dem und dem und sprechet zu ihm: Der Lehrer sagt: Meine Zeit ist nahe; bei dir halte ich das Passah mit meinen Jüngern.

19 Und die Jünger taten, wie ihnen Jesus befohlen, und bereiteten das Passah.

20 Als es aber Abend geworden, legte er sich zu Tische mit den Zwölfen.

21 Und während sie aßen, sprach er: Wahrlich, ich sage euch: Einer von euch wird mich überliefern.

22 Und sie wurden sehr betrübt, und fingen ein jeglicher von ihnen an, zu ihm zu sagen: Herr, bin ich's?

23 Er aber antwortete und sprach: Der mit mir die Hand in die Schüssel eintaucht, O. eingetaucht hat dieser wird mich überliefern

24 Der Sohn des Menschen geht zwar dahin, wie von ihm geschrieben ist; wehe aber jenem Menschen, durch welchen der Sohn des Menschen überliefert wird! Es wäre ihm gut, wenn jener Mensch nicht geboren wäre.

25 Judas aber, der ihn überlieferte, antwortete und sprach: Bin ich's, Rabbi? Er spricht zu ihm: Du hast's gesagt.

26 Da sie aber aßen, nahm Jesus das Brot, segnete, O. lobpries, dankte brach und gab es den Jüngern und sprach: Nehmet, esset; dies ist mein Leib.

27 Und er nahm den Kelch und dankte und gab ihnen denselben und sprach: Trinket alle daraus.

28 Denn dies ist mein Blut, das des neuen Bundes, welches für viele vergossen wird zur Vergebung der Sünden.

5 They said but: Not in the feast, that not a tumult there should be among the people.

6 The and Jesus having arrived in Bethany, in a house of Simon the leper,

7 came to him a woman, an alabaster box of balsam having great value, and she poured upon the head of him being reclined.

8 Seeing and the disciples of him, were displeased, saying: On account of what the loss this?

9 She was able for this to have sold of much, and to have given to poor.

10 Knowing and the Jesus said to them: Why troubles present you the woman? a work for good she was wrought for me.

11 Always for the poor you have with yourselves; me but not always you have.

12 Having cast for she the balsam this upon the body of me, to the to prepare for burial me she did.

13 Indeed I say to you, wherever may be published the glad tidings this, in whole the world, shall be spoken also what did she, for a memorial of her.

14 Then going one of the twelve he being named Judas Iscariot, to the highpriests,

15 said: What are you willing to me to give, and I to you will deliver up him? They and paid to him thirty pieces of silver.

16 And from then he did seek opportunity, that him he might deliver up.

17 The and first of the feasts of unleavened bread came the disciples of the Jesus, saying to him: Where wilt thou we make ready to thee to eat the passover?

18 He and said: Go you into the city to the certain one, and say to him: The teacher says: The season of me nigh is; to thee I will make the passover with the disciples of me.

19 And did the disciples as commanded to them the Jesus; and they prepared the passover.

20 Of evening and being come he reclined with the twelve.

21 And of eating of them, he said: Indeed I say to you, that one of you will deliver up me.

22 And being grieved exceedingly, they began to say to him each one of them: Not I am, O lord?

23 He but answering said: He dipping with me in the bowl the hand, this me, will deliver up.

24 The indeed son of the man goes as it has been written about him; Woe but to the man that, through whom the son of the man is delivered up; good it was to him, if not was born the man that.

25 Answering and Judas, he delivering up him, said: Not I am, rabbi? He says to him: Thou hast said.

26 Eating and of them, having taken the Jesus the loaf and having blessed, broke, and did give to the disciples, and said: Take you, eat you; This is the body of me.

27 And having taken the cup, and having given thanks, he gave to them, saying: Drink you out of it all;

28 this for is the blood of me, that of the new covenant, that about many being shed for forgiveness of sins.
