1 Und an jenem Tage wirst du sagen: Ich preise dich, O. Ich danke dir Jahwe; denn du warst gegen mich erzürnt: dein Zorn hat sich gewendet, und du hast mich getröstet.2 Siehe, Gott ist mein Heil, O. meine Rettung; so auch nachher. Vergl. [2.Mose 15,2]; [Ps 118,14] ich vertraue, und fürchte mich nicht; denn Jah, Jahwe, ist meine Stärke und mein Gesang, und er ist mir zum Heil geworden.3 Und mit Wonne werdet ihr Wasser schöpfen aus den Quellen des Heils,4 und werdet sprechen an jenem Tage: Preiset O. Danket Jahwe, rufet seinen Namen aus, machet unter den Völkern kund seine Taten, verkündet, Eig. erwähnet rühmend daß sein Name hoch erhaben ist!5 Besinget Jahwe, denn Herrliches Eig. Erhabenes hat er getan; solches werde kund auf der ganzen Erde!6 Jauchze und jubele, Bewohnerin von Zion! Denn groß ist in deiner Mitte der Heilige Israels.

1 And in that day thou shalt say, I will give thanks unto thee, O Jehovah; for though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away and thou comfortest me. 2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid: for Jehovah, even Jehovah, is my strength and song; and he is become my salvation. 3 Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. 4 And in that day shall ye say, Give thanks unto Jehovah, call upon his name, declare his doings among the peoples, make mention that his name is exalted. 5 Sing unto Jehovah; for he hath done excellent things: let this be known in all the earth. 6 Cry aloud and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion; for great in the midst of thee is the Holy One of Israel.
