12 Then Jesus went into the temple of God and He cast out all those buying and selling in the temple, and He overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those selling doves.
13 And He said to them, "It is written, 'My house shall be called a house of prayer,' but you have made it a 'den of thieves.'"
13 Now the Passover of the Jews was near, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
14 And He found in the temple those who sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the moneychangers sitting there.
15 And having made a scourge out of cords, He drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen, and He poured out the coins of the moneychangers, and He overturned the tables.
16 And He said to those selling the doves, "Take these things [away] from here! Do not make My Father's house a house of merchandise!"
17 Then His disciples remembered that it was written, "The zeal for Your house will consume Me."
19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?
44 "The tabernacle of the testimony was with our fathers in the wilderness, just as the One speaking to Moses commanded him, to make it according to the pattern that he had seen,
45 which also our fathers, having received in turn, also brought in with Joshua into the possession of the Gentiles, whom God drove out before the face of our fathers until the days of David,
46 who found favor before God and asked [opportunity ]to find a dwelling place for the God of Jacob.
47 But Solomon built Him a house.
48 However, the Most High does not dwell in hand-made sanctuaries, just as the prophet says:
49 'Heaven is My throne, and [the ]earth is My footstool. What kind of house will you build for Me? says the LORD, or what is the place of My rest?
50 Did not My hand make all these things?'
15 but if I am delayed, [I write] so that you may know how it is necessary to conduct oneself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and bulwark of the truth.
6 but Christ [was faithful ]as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and the boast of hope firm until [the] end.
