12 But as many as received Him, He gave them the authority to become children of God, to those who believe in His name;
19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly awaits the unveiling of the sons of God.
1 At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, "Who then is [the ]greater in the kingdom of heaven?"
2 Then Jesus called a little child, and set him in their midst,
3 and said, "Assuredly I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you shall by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.
4 Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child, he is the greater in the kingdom of heaven.
13 And they were bringing to Him little children, that He might touch them; but the disciples were rebuking those who brought them.
14 But when Jesus saw this, He was indignant and said to them, "Allow the little children come to Me, do not hinder them; for of such is the kingdom of God.
2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He appears, we shall be like Him, because we shall see Him as He is.
3 And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.
52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.
14 But Jesus said, "Allow the little children to come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven."
14 But Jesus said, "Allow the little children to come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven."
4 And fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and admonition of the Lord.
4 I have no greater joy than these things, that I hear [that] my children are walking in truth.
21 Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged.
31 And they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved, you and your household."
21 Little children, guard yourselves from idols. Amen.
4 one ruling his own house well, having [his] children in submission with all reverence;
25 At that time Jesus answered and said, "I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent, and have revealed them to babes.
20 Children, obey your parents in all things, for this is well pleasing in the Lord.
5 And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as sons: "My son, do not despise the discipline of the LORD, nor be discouraged when you are reproved;
6 For whom the LORD loves He disciplines, and scourges every son whom He receives."
7 It is for discipline [that] you endure; God deals with you as with sons. For what son is there whom a father does not discipline?
8 But if you are without discipline, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons.
9 Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we respected [them.] Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live?
16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.
10 "See that you do not despise one of these little [ones], for I say to you that in heaven their angels always see the face of My Father who is in heaven.
22 Flee youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
4 And fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and admonition of the Lord.
26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.
27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
2 And the things which you have heard from me through many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be competent to teach others also.
11 Now no discipline seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, later it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those having been trained by it.
9 Blessed [are] the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.
3 and said, "Assuredly I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you shall by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.
4 Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child, he is the greater in the kingdom of heaven.
5 And whoever receives one such little child in My name, receives Me.
12 I am writing to you, little children, because your sins have been forgiven you on account of His name.
1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
2 "Honor your father and mother,"which is the first commandment with a promise:
3 "that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth."
4 I have no greater joy than these things, that I hear [that] my children are walking in truth.
1 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! On account of this the world does not know you, because it did not know Him.
1 Therefore be imitators of God as beloved children.
8 But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his [own] house, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
36 And taking a child, He stood him in their midst. And taking him in His arms, He said to them,
37 whoever receives one of these little children in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me, receives not Me, but Him who sent Me."
15 So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, [son] of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?"He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I care for You."He said to him, "Feed My lambs."
15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again unto fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father."
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
