24 "No one is able to serve two masters; for either he will hate the one, and he will love the other, or else he will be devoted to the one, and he will despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.
7 Render therefore to all their dues: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.
8 Owe nothing to no one, except to love one another, for he who loves one another has fulfilled the law.
30 Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your belongings, do not ask for [them] back.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, [does] not first sit down and count up the cost, whether he has the resources to complete it?
5 Let [your] way of life [be] without loving money, being satisfied with what you have. For He Himself has said, "By no means shall I desert you, nor in any way shall I forsake you;"
