11 And these were more noble-minded than[ ]those in Thessalonica, who received the word with all readiness, each day examining the Scriptures [to see ]whether these things might be so.
13 Until I come, give attention to [public] reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.
15 Be diligent to show yourself approved unto God, a worker unashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
24 Jesus answered and said to them, "Is this not the reason you are mistaken, because you know neither the Scriptures nor the power of God?
15 and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,
17 that the man of God may be proficient, having been thoroughly equipped for every good work.
17 You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, be on guard, lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being carried away by the error of the wicked;
18 but grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him [be] the glory both now and forever. Amen.
10 Concerning this salvation the prophets have sought out and inquired carefully, having prophesied of the grace [that would come] to you,
11 searching for who or what kind of time the Spirit of Christ in them was revealing when He testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ and the glories which were to follow.
4 For as many things as were previously written, were written for our own instruction, that through the patience and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we may have hope.
39 You search the Scriptures, because you think [that] in them you have eternal life; and these are they which testify about Me.
