17 "And it shall be in the last days,"says God, "that I will pour My Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy; and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams;"
18 "And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; and they shall prophesy.
19 And I will give wonders in the heaven above, and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and vapor of smoke.
20 The sun shall be changed into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome Day of the Lord.
21 And it shall be that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved."
51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed-
52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, not loving what is good,
4 traitors, headstrong, having been puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from these people turn away!
14 And this good news of the kingdom will be proclaimed in all the world for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.
34 "But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and worries of life, and that Day come upon you unexpectedly.
35 For it will come as a snare on all those who live on the face of the whole earth.
36 Watch therefore, praying always that you may be counted worthy to escape everything that is about to happen, and to stand before the Son of Man."
29 "Immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give its light; and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth shall mourn, and they shall see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
32 "But concerning that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father.
15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord shall by no means precede those who are asleep.
16 Because the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a word of command, with [the] voice of an archangel, and with [the] trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ shall rise first.
17 Then we who are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
18 So then comfort one another with these words.
8 But in this let it not escape your notice, beloved, that one day with the Lord is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
9 The Lord does not delay concerning His promise, as some reckon slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 But the day of the Lord shall come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens shall pass away with a rushing noise, and the elements, burning with heat, shall be dissolved, both the earth and the works that are in it shall be burned up.
11 Therefore, [seeing that] all these things shall be dissolved, what sort of [people] ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness,
12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens, being set of fire, shall be dissolved, and the elements, burning with heat, shall melt?
13 But according to His promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. And there was no more sea.
2 Then I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, having been prepared like a bride having been adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He shall dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them.
4 And He shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying out; neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things have passed away."
42 Watch therefore, for you do not know in what hour your Lord is coming.
43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what hour the thief was coming, he would have kept watch, and he would not have allowed his house to be broken into.
44 For this reason you also must be ready, for at an hour that you think not, the Son of Man comes.
20 teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."Amen.
