1 Do not sharply rebuke an older man, but [rather ]exhort him as a father, younger men as brothers,
15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, that He might create in Himself one new man [from] the two, [thus] making peace,
11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I thought as a child, I reasoned as a child; but when I became a man, I put away the things of the child.
6 But someone somewhere testified, saying: "What is man that You are mindful of him, or the son of man that You visit him?
22 that you put off, concerning your former way of life, the old man which is being corrupted according to the deceitful lusts,
23 and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind,
24 and that you put on the new man which was created in the likeness of God, in true righteousness and holiness.
45 Thus also it is written, "The first man Adam [became] a living being;"the last Adam [became] a life-giving spirit.
46 However, that which is spiritual is not first, but that which is natural, then that which is spiritual.
47 The first man [was ]from earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven.
48 Like the [man] made of dust, so also [are] those who are made of dust; and as is the heavenly [Man], so also [are ]those [who are ]heavenly.
49 And just as we have borne the image of the [man] made of dust, let us also bear the image of the heavenly [Man].
11 You however, O man of God, flee these things. But pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, gentleness.
12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death passed to all men, because all sinned-
7 For let not that man suppose that he shall receive anything from the Lord;
8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
