7 Render therefore to all their dues: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.
12 But above all, my brothers, do not swear, neither by heaven nor the earth, nor any other oath. But let your "Yes"be "Yes,"and [your] "No,""No,"so that you may not fall into hypocrisy.
16 "No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a vessel or puts [it] under a bed, but sets it on a lampstand, so that those who enter may see the light.
2 but we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor falsifying the word of God, but by the disclosure of the truth, commending ourselves to every man's conscience before God.
18 My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.
6 For on account of this you also pay taxes, for they are ministers of God, always giving attention to this very thing.
16 Confess your transgressions to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of the righteous is very powerful.
15 Be diligent to show yourself approved unto God, a worker unashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
9 Do not lie to one another, since you have stripped off the old man with his practices,
8 Blessed [are] the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
21 having regard for honorable things, not only before the Lord, but also before men.
17 Repay no one evil for evil; providing that which is good before all men.
6 If we claim that we have fellowship with Him, and we are walking in the darkness, we are lying, and are not practicing the truth.
17 But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.
