19 But Mary treasured all these things and pondered [them] in her heart.
26 Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth,
27 to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin's name [was] Mary.
28 And the angel came to her and said, "Greetings, O favored [one], the Lord is with you; blessed [are] you among women!"
34 Then Simeon blessed them, and said to Mary His mother, "Behold, this Child is destined for the fall and rise of many in Israel, and for a sign which will be spoken against
35 (yes, a sword will pierce through your own soul also), so that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed."
3 And when the wine had given out, the mother of Jesus said to Him, "They have no wine."
4 Jesus said to her, "Woman, what have I to do with you? My hour has not yet come."
5 His mother said to the servants, "Whatever He may say to you, do."
55 Is this not the carpenter's son? Is not His mother called Mary? And His brothers James, Joses, Simon, and Jude?
56 And His sisters, are they not all with us? From where then did this Man get all these things?"
48 And when they saw Him, they were amazed; and His mother said to Him, "Child, why have You treated us this way? Look, Your father and I were seeking You anxiously."
49 And He said to them, "Why [is it] that you were seeking Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father's business?"
50 But they did not understand the statement which He spoke to them.
51 Then He went down with them and came to Nazareth, and was subject to them. And His mother kept all these things in her heart.
46 And Mary said: "My soul magnifies the Lord,
47 and my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior.
48 Because He looked upon the lowly state of His maidservant; for behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed.
49 For He that is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is His name.
50 And His mercy is on those who fear Him from generation to generation.
51 He has shown strength with His arm; He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.
52 He has overthrown the mighty from their thrones, and exalted the lowly.
53 He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich He has sent away empty.
54 He has helped His servant Israel, in remembrance of His mercy,
55 As He spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to his seed forever."
4 Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family of David,
5 to be registered with Mary, his betrothed wife, who was pregnant.
6 So it was, that while they were there, the days were completed [for] her to bear.
7 And she bore her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.
14 These were continuing with one mind in prayer and petition, together with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.
31 Then His brothers and His mother came, and as they stood outside they sent to Him, calling for Him.
32 And a crowd was sitting around Him; and they said to Him, "Look, Your mother and Your brothers and Your sisters are seeking You outside."
33 But He answered them, saying, "Who is My mother, or My brothers?"
34 And when He had looked around in a circle at those sitting around Him, He said, "Here are My mother and My brothers!
35 For whoever does the will of God is My brother and My sister and mother."
18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was like this: After His mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found pregnant by the Holy Spirit.
30 Then the angel said to her, "Fear not, Mary, for you have found grace with God.
31 And behold, you shall conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS.
32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God shall give Him the throne of His father David.
33 And He shall reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there shall be no end."
25 Now there stood by the cross of Jesus His mother, and His mother's sister, Mary the [wife] of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene.
26 Therefore Jesus, seeing His mother, and the disciple whom He loved standing by, He said to His mother, "Woman, behold your son!"
27 Then He said to the disciple, "Behold your mother!"And from that hour that disciple took her into his own [care].
