28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both the soul and the body in hell.
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
21 For to me, to live [is] Christ, and to die [is] gain.
3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He shall dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them.
4 And He shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying out; neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things have passed away."
55 "O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?"
56 Now the sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
8 For whether we live, we live to the Lord; and whether we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live, or whether we die, we are the Lord's.
46 And Jesus, calling out with a loud voice, said, "Father, 'into Your hands I will commit My spirit.' "And after He said these things, He expired.
23 For the wages of sin [is] death, but the gift of God [is] eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
21 For since by a man [came] death, also by a Man came the resurrection of the dead.
25 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He that believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.
26 And everyone who lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?"
25 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He that believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.
26 And everyone who lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?"
20 For our citizenship exists in heaven, from which also we eagerly await for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,
21 who will transform our lowly body, that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subject all things to Himself.
23 For I am hard pressed by the two, having a desire to depart and to be with Christ, [which is] far better.
24 But to remain in the flesh is more needful for your sake.
13 Now we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you be sorrowful as those who have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose [again], thus also God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
6 Blessed and holy is he that has part in the first resurrection. Over these the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him for a thousand years.
22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all will be made alive.
17 For if by the transgression of the one man death reigned through the one [man], much more those receiving the abundance of the grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ).
27 And inasmuch as it is appointed for men once to die and after this judgment,
11 Faithful is this word: For if we died with [Him], we shall also live with [Him].
7 For scarcely on behalf of a righteous [man] will anyone die; yet perhaps for a good man someone might even dare to die.
8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
16 Because the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a word of command, with [the] voice of an archangel, and with [the] trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ shall rise first.
17 Then we who are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
26 The last enemy that will be abolished is death.
27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
28 And I give to them eternal life, and they shall never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.
23 And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham from afar, and Lazarus in his bosom.
24 Then he cried and said, 'Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus so that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am suffering in this flame.'
25 For whoever desires to save his life shall lose it, but whoever loses his life on account of Me shall find it.
38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,
39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in creation, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
15 Then lust, when it conceives, gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.
4 And He shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying out; neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things have passed away."
