O Adultério

11 And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her: 12 and if she herself shall put away her husband, and marry another, she committeth adultery.

14 The mouth of strange women is a deep pit: he that is abhorred of the LORD shall fall therein.

16 But I say, Walk by the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are contrary the one to the other; that ye may not do the things that ye would.

19 For out of the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, railings:

32 but I say unto you, that every one that putteth away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, maketh her an adulteress: and whosoever shall marry her when she is put away committeth adultery.

3 For the lips of a strange woman drop honey, and her mouth is smoother than oil: 4 But her latter end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword. 5 Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on Sheol; 6 So that she findeth not the level path of life: her ways are unstable and she knoweth it not. 7 Now therefore, my sons, hearken unto me, and depart not from the words of my mouth. 8 Remove thy way far from her, and come not nigh the door of her house: 9 Lest thou give thine honour unto others, and thy years unto the cruel:

4 Let marriage be had in honour among all, and let the bed be undefiled: for fornicators and adulterers God will judge.

21 And I gave her time that she should repent; and she willeth not to repent of her fornication. 22 Behold, I do cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of her works.

10 And the man that committeth adultery with another man’s wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

18 Every one that putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and he that marrieth one that is put away from a husband committeth adultery.

4 Ye adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore would be a friend of the world maketh himself an enemy of God.

14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.

27 Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned? 28 Or can one walk upon hot coals, and his feet not be scorched? 29 So he that goeth in to his nieghbour’s wife; whosoever toucheth her shall not be unpunished.

18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

19 As a loving hind and a pleasant doe, let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love. 20 For why shouldest thou, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of a stranger?

20 And thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbour’s wife, to defile thyself with her.

19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousies, wraths, factions, divisions, heresies, 21 envyings, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I forewarn you, even as I did forewarn you, that they which practise such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

8 Remove thy way far from her, and come not nigh the door of her house: 9 Lest thou give thine honour unto others, and thy years unto the cruel: 10 Lest strangers be filled with thy strength; and thy labours be in the house of an alien; 11 And thou mourn at thy latter end, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed, 12 And say, How have I hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof; 13 Neither have I obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor inclined mine ear to them that instructed me! 14 I was well nigh in all evil in the midst of the congregation and assembly.

32 He that committeth adultery with a woman is void of understanding: he doeth it that would destroy his own soul.

32 He that committeth adultery with a woman is void of understanding: he doeth it that would destroy his own soul. 33 Wounds and dishonour shall he get; and his reproach shall not be wiped away. 34 For jealousy is the rage of a man; and he will not spare in the day of vengeance. 35 He will not regard any ransom; neither will he rest content, though thou givest many gifts.

27 Ye have heard that it was said, Thou shalt not commit adultery: 28 but I say unto you, that every one that looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

18 For her house inclineth unto death, and her paths unto the dead: 19 None that go unto her return again, neither do they attain unto the paths of life:

4 they say unto him, Master, this woman hath been taken in adultery, in the very act. 5 Now in the law Moses commanded us to stone such: what then sayest thou of her? 6 And this they said, tempting him, that they might have whereof to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground. 7 But when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. 8 And again he stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground. 9 And they, when they heard it, went out one by one, beginning from the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman, where she was, in the midst. 10 And Jesus lifted up himself, and said unto her, Woman, where are they? did no man condemn thee? 11 And she said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said, Neither do I condemn thee: go thy way; from henceforth sin no more.]
