26 And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. 27 And the men marveled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him?
8 He bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them. 9 He closeth in the face of his throne, and spreadeth his cloud upon it. 10 He hath described a boundary upon the face of the waters, unto the confines of light and darkness.
30 But if God doth so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? 31 Be not therefore anxious, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
39 He spread a cloud for a covering; and fire to give light in the night.
40 They asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
41 He opened the rock, and waters gushed out; they ran in the dry places like a river.
21 Thou shalt be hid from the scourge of the tongue; neither shalt thou be afraid of destruction when it cometh.
9 Thou rulest the pride of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them.
2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.
25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging their bread.
1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore will we not fear, though the earth do change, and though the mountains be moved in the heart of the seas;
3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah
6 And there shall be a pavilion for a shadow in the day-time from the heat, and for a refuge and for a covert from storm and from rain.
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 Even as it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
4 Above the voices of many waters, the mighty breakers of the sea, the LORD on high is mighty.
18 The LORD knoweth the days of the perfect: and their inheritance shall be for ever.
19 They shall not be ashamed in the time of evil: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
8 Trust in him at all times, ye people; pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah
7 The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that put their trust in him.
16 The barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah.
2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
3 For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and streams upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:
8 we are pressed on every side, yet not straitened; perplexed, yet not unto despair; 9 pursued, yet not forsaken; smitten down, yet not destroyed;
9 The LORD also will be a high tower for the oppressed, a high tower in times of trouble;
10 And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee; for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
4 For thou hast been a strong hold to the poor, a strong hold to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.
29 He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.
6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that there they may nourish her a thousand two hundred and threescore days.
19 Behold, I have given you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall in any wise hurt you.
