O Papel da Mulher
10 A virtuous woman who can find? for her price is far above rubies. 11 The heart of her husband trusteth in her, and he shall have no lack of gain. 12 She doeth him good and not evil all the days of her life.
7 Ye husbands, in like manner, dwell with your wives according to knowledge, giving honour unto the woman, as unto the weaker vessel, as being also joint-heirs of the grace of life; to the end that your prayers be not hindered.
24 She maketh linen garments and selleth them; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant. 25 Strength and dignity are her clothing; and she laugheth at the time to come. 26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and the law of kindness is on her tongue. 27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
13 She seeketh wool and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands. 14 She is like the merchant-ships; she bringeth her food from afar. 15 She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and their task to her maidens. 16 She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard. 17 She girdeth her loins with strength, and maketh strong her arms. 18 She perceiveth that her merchandise is profitable: her lamp goeth not out by night. 19 She layeth her hands to the distaff, and her hands hold the spindle. 20 She spreadeth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.
9 In like manner, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefastness and sobriety; not with braided hair, and gold or pearls or costly raiment;
11 Women in like manner must be grave, not slanderers, temperate, faithful in all things.
1 In like manner, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, even if any obey not the word, they may without the word be gained by the behaviour of their wives; 2 beholding your chaste behaviour coupled with fear. 3 Whose adorning let it not be the outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing jewels of gold, or of putting on apparel; 4 but let it be the hidden man of the heart, in the incorruptible apparel of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. 5 For after this manner aforetime the holy women also, who hoped in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection to their own husbands: 6 as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose children ye now are, if ye do well, and are not put in fear by any terror.
22 Wives, be in subjection unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church, being himself the saviour of the body. 24 But as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their husbands in everything.
1 Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her own hands.
3 that aged women likewise be reverent in demeanour, not slanderers nor enslaved to much wine, teachers of that which is good; 4 that they may train the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, 5 to be soberminded, chaste, workers at home, kind, being in subjection to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed:
27 And God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them: and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
8 My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother:
18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
11 Howbeit neither is the woman without the man, nor the man without the woman, in the Lord. 12 For as the woman is of the man, so is the man also by the woman; but all things are of God.
