11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope in your latter end. 12 And ye shall call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. 13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all year heart.
7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
14 And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.
4 Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah
7 casting all your anxiety upon him, because he careth for you.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
12 For the which cause I suffer also these things: yet I am not ashamed; for I know him whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that he is able to guard that which I have committed unto him against that day.
8 Trust in him at all times, ye people; pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah
10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.
7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. 8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out his roots by the river, and shall not fear when heat cometh, but his leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
31 but they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint.
1 I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
25 The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. 26 It is good that a man should hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.
7 For he said unto Judah, Let us build these cities, and make about them walls, and towers, gates, and bars; the land is yet before us, because we have sought the LORD our God; we have sought him, and he hath given us rest on every side. So they built and prospered.
14 Wait on the LORD: be strong, and let thine heart take courage; yea, wait thou on the LORD.
27 As they were going down at the end of the city, Samuel said to Saul, Bid the servant pass on before us, (and he passed on,) but stand thou still at this time, that I may cause thee to hear the word of God.
17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and confidence for ever.
22 Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
15 For thus said the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel, In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.
