Sabedoria

8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will counsel thee with mine eye upon thee.

8 Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way plain before my face.

11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; in thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

28 And we know that to them that love God all things work together for good, even to them that are called according to his purpose.

13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.

11 and the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in dry places, and make strong thy bones; and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.

10 Say not thou, What is the cause that the former days were better than these? for thou dost not inquire wisely concerning this.

28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard? the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary; there is no searching of his understanding.

1 Boast not thyself of tomorrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.

18 Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.

20 Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end.

15 for I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to withstand or to gainsay.

12 So teach us to number our days, that we may get us an heart of wisdom.

9 They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by rivers of waters, in a straight way wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.

3 Yea, if thou cry after discernment, and lift up thy voice for understanding; 5 Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.

5 Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things.

35 For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD.

18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man thinketh that he is wise among you in this world, let him become a fool, that he may become wise.

18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man thinketh that he is wise among you in this world, let him become a fool, that he may become wise.

12 With aged men is wisdom, and in length of days understanding. 13 With him is wisdom and might; he hath counsel and understanding.

5 But if any of you lacketh wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all liberally and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

2 When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.

1 Then Job answered and said, 2 Of a truth I know that it is so: but how can man be just with God? 3 If he be pleased to contend with him, he cannot answer him one of a thousand. 4 He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who hath hardened himself against him, and prospered?

17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without variance, without hypocrisy.

12 But where shall wisdom be found? and where is the place of understanding? 13 Man knoweth not the price thereof; neither is it found in the land of the living. 14 The deep saith, It is not in me: and the sea saith, It is not with me. 15 It cannot be gotten for gold, neither shall silver be weighed for the price thereof. 16 It cannot be valued with the gold of Ophir, with the precious onyx, or the sapphire. 17 Gold and glass cannot equal it: neither shall the exchange thereof be jewels of fine gold. 18 No mention shall be made of coral or of crystal: yea, the price of wisdom is above rubies. 19 The topaz of Ethiopia shall not equal it, neither shall it be valued with pure gold. 20 Whence then cometh wisdom? and where is the place of understanding? 21 Seeing it is hid from the eyes of all living, and kept close from the fowls of the air. 22 Destruction and Death say, We have heard a rumour thereof with our ears.

34 Be not therefore anxious for the morrow: for the morrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

17 Now as for these four youths, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.

4 The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of them that are taught, that I should know how to sustain with words him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as they that are taught.

5 and ye have forgotten the exhortation, which reasoneth with you as with sons, My son, regard not lightly the chastening of the Lord, Nor faint when thou art reproved of him; 6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, And scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

1 Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help, and stay on horses; and trust in chariots, because they are many, and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the LORD! 2 Yet he also is wise, and will bring evil, and will not call back his words: but will arise against the house of the evil-doers, and against the help of them that work iniquity.

15 Look therefore carefully how ye walk, not as unwise, but as wise; 16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

33 The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour goeth humility.

8 He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul: he that keepeth understanding shall find good.

5 That the wise man may hear, and increase in learning; and that the man of understanding may attain unto sound counsels:

15 Look therefore carefully how ye walk, not as unwise, but as wise; 16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

10 By pride cometh only contention: but with the well advised is wisdom.

23 whatsoever ye do, work heartily, as unto the Lord, and not unto men; 24 knowing that from the Lord ye shall receive the recompense of the inheritance: ye serve the Lord Christ.

2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; 3 And his delight shall be in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:

42 The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and behold, a greater than Solomon is here.

19 The LORD by wisdom founded the earth; by understanding he established the heavens.

27 to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory for ever. Amen.

12 For wisdom is a defence, even as money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom preserveth the life of him that hath it.

8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

29 This also cometh forth from the LORD of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in wisdom.

6 For the LORD giveth wisdom; out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding:

9 The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.

8 The wise in heart will receive commandments: but a prating fool shall fall.

28 Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: when he shutteth his lips, he is esteemed as prudent.

18 Every purpose is established by counsel: and by wise guidance make thou war,

8 Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.

28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard? the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary; there is no searching of his understanding.

15 The way of the foolish is right in his own eyes: but he that is wise hearkeneth unto counsel.

24 O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.

20 Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end.

16 And I will bring the blind by a way that they know not; in paths that they know not will I lead them: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked places straight. These things will I do, and I will not forsake them.

4 Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.

5 Guide me in thy truth, and teach me; for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart, and lean not upon thine own understanding: 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

7 Be not wise in thine own eyes; fear the LORD, and depart from evil:

5 Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. 6 Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer each one.

30 The mouth of the righteous talketh of wisdom, and his tongue speaketh judgment.

33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and the knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past tracing out!

105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and light unto my path,

23 A man’s goings are established of the LORD; and he delighteth in his way.

23 but we preach Christ crucified, unto Jews a stumblingblock, and unto Gentiles foolishness; 24 but unto them that are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. 25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

3 He that guardeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.

12 He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and by his understanding hath he stretched out the heavens:

6 For by wise guidance thou shalt make thy war: and in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.

23 O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

23 I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers, who hast given me wisdom and might, and hast now made known unto me what we desired of thee: for thou hast made known unto us the king’s matter.

2 A fool hath no delight in understanding, but only that his heart may reveal itself.

6 For the LORD giveth wisdom; out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding:

6 and said to the judges, Consider what ye do: for ye judge not for man, but for the LORD; and he is with you in the judgment.

20 Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his:

1 The preparations of the heart belong to man: but the answer of the tongue is from the LORD.

26 For to the man that pleaseth him God giveth wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that pleaseth God. This also is vanity and a striving after wind.

5 Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; his understanding is infinite.

15 The heart of the prudent getteth knowledge; and the ear of the wise seeketh knowledge.

24 Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.

17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without variance, without hypocrisy.

14 whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. What is your life? For ye are a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

2 that their hearts may be comforted, they being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, that they may know the mystery of God, even Christ, 3 in whom are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge hidden.

29 He that is slow to anger is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.

16 How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! yea, to get understanding is rather to be chosen than silver.

4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, 21 unto him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus unto all generations for ever and ever. Amen.

1 This is the third time I am coming to you. At the mouth of two witnesses or three shall every word be established.

5 But if any of you lacketh wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all liberally and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

22 When thou walkest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall watch over thee; and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee.

5 Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. 6 Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer each one.

105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and light unto my path,

13 Who is wise and understanding among you? let him shew by his good life his works in meekness of wisdom.

10 Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.

6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among the perfect: yet a wisdom not of this world, nor of the rulers of this world, which are coming to nought: 7 but we speak God’s wisdom in a mystery, even the wisdom that hath been hidden, which God foreordained before the worlds unto our glory:

1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the wicked, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

130 The opening of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.

24 Judge not according to appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

9 A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.

17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without variance, without hypocrisy.

10 Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me in the land of uprightness.

11 Quicken me, O LORD, for thy name’s sake: in thy righteousness bring my soul out of trouble.

16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts unto God.

11 Teach me thy way, O LORD; and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.

24 Every one therefore which heareth these words of mine, and doeth them, shall be likened unto a wise man, which built his house upon the rock:

7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but the foolish despise wisdom and instruction.

5 But if any of you lacketh wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all liberally and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
