9 Two are better then one: for they haue better wages for their labour. 10 For if they fal, the one wil lift vp his felow: but wo vnto him that is alone: for he falleth, and there is not a second to lift him vp. 11 Also if two sleepe together, then shall they haue heate: but to one how should there be heate? 12 And if one ouercome him, two shall stand against him: and a threefolde coard is not easily broken.
18 Also the Lord God saide, It is not good that the man should be himself alone: I wil make him an helpe meete for him.
9 My sister, my spouse, thou hast wounded mine heart: thou hast wounded mine heart with one of thine eyes, and with a chaine of thy necke.
33 Therefore euery one of you, doe ye so: let euery one loue his wife, euen as himselfe, and let the wife see that shee feare her husband.
14 And aboue all these thinges put on loue, which is the bond of perfectnes.
6 Set mee as a seale on thine heart, and as a signet vpon thine arme: for loue is strong as death: ielousie is cruel as the graue: the coles thereof are fierie coles, and a vehement flame. 7 Much water can not quench loue, neither can the floods drowne it: If a man should giue all the substance of his house for loue, they would greatly contemne it.
6 Wherefore they are no more twaine, but one flesh. Let not man therefore put asunder that, which God hath coupled together.
5 When a man taketh a new wife, he shall not goe a warfare, neither shalbe charged with any businesse, but shalbe free at home one yeere, and reioyce with his wife which he hath taken.
15 My welbeloued, beholde, thou art faire and pleasant: also our bed is greene: 16 The beames of our house are cedars, our rafters are of firre.
22 He that findeth a wife, findeth a good thing, and receiueth fauour of the Lord.
18 Let thy fountaine be blessed, and reioyce with the wife of thy youth. 19 Let her be as the louing hinde and pleasant roe: let her brests satisfie thee at all times, and delite in her loue continually. 20 For why shouldest thou delite, my sonne, in a strange woman, or embrace the bosome of a stranger?
4 Loue suffreth long: it is bountifull: loue enuieth not: loue doeth not boast it selfe: it is not puffed vp: 5 It doeth no vncomely thing: it seeketh not her owne things: it is not prouoked to anger: it thinketh not euill: 6 It reioyceth not in iniquitie, but reioyceth in the trueth: 7 It suffreth all things: it beleeueth all things: it hopeth all things: it endureth all things.
15 And did not hee make one? yet had hee abundance of spirit: and wherefore one? because he sought a godly seede: therefore keepe your selues in your spirit, and let none trespasse against the wife of his youth.
28 So ought men to loue their wiues, as their owne bodies: he that loueth his wife, loueth him selfe. 29 For no man euer yet hated his owne flesh, but nourisheth and cherisheth it, euen as the Lord doeth the Church.
2 Because of the sauour of thy good ointments thy name is as an ointment powred out: therefore the virgins loue thee. 3 Drawe me: we will runne after thee: the King hath brought me into his chabers: we will reioyce and be glad in thee: we will remember thy loue more then wine: the righteous do loue thee.
22 And the ribbe which the Lord God had taken from the man, made he a woman, and brought her to the man. 23 Then the man said, This now is bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh. She shalbe called woman, because she was taken out of man. 24 Therefore shall man leaue his father and his mother, and shall cleaue to his wife, and they shall be one flesh.
